Like seeing that Staal Samson connection! -
Staal on Reinhart: "His shot is pretty lethal" Staal said he has quickly noted Reinhart's hockey IQ after skating with him in the early going, a common observation among those who have played with Reinhart in the past. But he's also been impressed with Reinhart's shot, a weapon Staal said he will implore Reinhart to utilize more often. "His shot is pretty lethal," Staal said. "From watching from years prior, I don't think he shoots the puck enough, but I'll try to get that out of him maybe a little more this year. He's a very good player. I've liked his style, his competitiveness. … He's one of many guys I'm excited to be alongside right now."

I was never impressed with his speed. RK did just say he was faster now. Hopefully that allows him to buy time and space to make plays. I know I lost ten pounds and skated much better.
-
Taking Lazar out would be a big mistake, IMO. He’s a good player and would fill the fourth line role WAY better than Casey would. In addition, his face offs in overtime are worth points in the standings and we will be fighting for every point we can get to make the playoffs.

I totally missed that Chara went to Caps. No problem, he’s slow. Bruins lose their leader and Caps don’t gain that much
-
Speed kills, and he needs to be quicker. He’s never going to be a banger.
-
Lazar is lighter, wonder how that changes his game.
-
That was good. Surprised there were no “hows Hutton looking” questions. High level workouts on first day, hope that doesn’t lead to injuries. Loved what he said about Hall

Can the Sabres make the Playoffs In this new division?

I saw on the tv scroll Marchand is going to be on time for camp -

I’d love to see it. I like Kyle with Grigs but Cozens would be fun to watch with them two and I bet it would work as a line. -

Him and Lazar together would be great, IMO. But ya, not forever. Two big bodies, speed and I bet they could produce from the fourth spot. Super excited about this season! -
Fourth line: Lazar, Cozens and Reider! Love it!
-
Great empty net goal, what a way to dominate the puck
-
Cozens with another pass to himself.
-
He sure is comfortable handling puck down low near goal line
-
Sweet! Cozens looks great
-
Can’t wait to see who his line mates are. I see some people are assuming Hall and Jack play together, but I had thought that Hall and Skinner would be a thing.

How well did teams do with drafting in the 4th round?
bob_sauve28 replied to Zamboni's topic in The Aud Club
Hudson Fasching! We got him for Brayden McNabb? Boo And to the point, 4th rounders do have a few make it, but just a few -

Didn’t he do better as the season went on? He mostly scored on PP early on, but he started to score even strength later in season, if memory serves. And its nice having too many good players players who can score! Where to put them all is a problem I’m glad we have. Injuries will probably solve some problems I imagine. -

It's all news to me, just quoted the wiki article. Unless a friend of his is playing a joke on him and put in on there or something https://www.mlive.com/griffins/2012/11/red_wings_prospect_riley_sheah.html Yup, looks true -
I did not know Bryson was doing so well. Love we have depth on defense finally. So if McCabe walks after the season maybe that does not hurt as much
-
Wow! Sorry to hear its a problem.

I love chess and play all the time on line. My dad never let me win. Just stomped my head into the ground every time. I'm glad he did. He passed away when I was just nine and I beat him once before he died, that's how I knew something was really wrong. Has your son played online? He will find great players to play against.
-
Not that I would know, but I just don't see it. I just have not seen anything in him with talent, checking or skating to give me hope. But who knows?
