  1. I'm not trying to be difficult, but "All players know you don't take a skate off the ice..." huh? He stopped with one skate and was pivoting around. The announcer says he is guilty whether he did it on purpose or not? That's silly. I do not see any kicking at all. I see two guys changing direction really quickly and manuvering to get back in play. You can stop on one skate to swing around easier, if that makes sense. If I had to make the call on this one I'd say no dirty play.
  2. I want more info before I decide if the hit was dirty. We don’t even know the injury. It looks like he twisted his ankle or knee. What does that have to do with an attempted cut? How would you cut someone’s tendon when the skates protect that area, as do the shin pads. I can maybe see that he tried to kick his ankle, but it was such a bang bang play, I just don’t see it.
  3. Couldn't really tell what happened. Nathan Beaulieu helps him off. Nice guy. Winnipeg must really have a depth issue on D though.
  4. I don’t ride for speed either. I just like cruising and day dreaming. If (when) I play hockey again I’ll do more short sprints for speed, but until then it’s cruising and doing big hills. I’ll have to try out different handle bars, right now I have a big straight bar on a mountain bike.
  5. If Carter Hutton’s eye problem had not happened we would be playing now.
  6. Maybe he’s having trouble tracking the puck?
  7. I’ve always thought that the Niagara Gorge is an amazingly beautiful place with both natural beauty and the man made stuff to look at ( bridge and power plant)
  8. That's interesting. I did some planking earlier this summer and had to flex stomach muscles for that, so I'll try riding, too So, what I do, which works, is a heating pad. Love it. Could be both heat and ice increase blood flow
  9. I rode 18 miles today over some pretty good hills. It was my third attempt. Last two times I turned back at like 12 miles with sore back and next time sore knee.. I stretched and warmed up real good this time and did it pretty easily. I feel good. Not sure how I’ll feel at 7 am though.
  10. And at this point our prospect is doing badly? Or is someone we did not pick doing well?
  11. I'm not too picky. Wegman's wings are disgusting, dry and too salty, not sure why I eat them all the time. Hard to pass them by I guess.
  12. Am I the only one that has no idea what this means?
  13. Hockey is doing it different, though. Having the players in a bubble is safer than just letting them stay at home and hotels. Still might not be enough, but better
  14. Season in doubt, 14 Marlins tested positive https://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/miami-marlins/fl-sp-coronavirus-outbreak-cancel-marlins-20200727-glx5ampnevfynf4amcfxy3wvyq-story.html
  15. Watching Yankees Nats game and the fake crowd noise is good! Sabres should do that for home games, lol
  16. What's next, you will be going after Mike Peca! Lol, just kidding. Maybe its not so much the place, but maybe he feels Buffalo gave him that chance to get his career going and its worked so far. What bad memories could he possibly have about the place where his career were reborn?
  17. A thank-you note from Curtis Lazar by Curtis Lazar @CurtisLazar95 / Sabres.com July 23, 2020 Facebook Share Twitter Share Link Share Email Share I'll never forget my first game as a Sabre. I got called up to play at KeyBank Center against Carolina. We were down two, and all of a sudden, it's kind of like the stars aligned and the hockey gods were with me. I get in a lane, I block a shot, I go in on a breakaway and I score. The place went crazy. The story of my career to that point had been, I do all that right, but the finish isn't there. To see it go in, I just felt at home. KeyBank Center is such a loud arena. Hearing those fans cheer for me, feeling that support - it was the perfect start to my time in Buffalo. Lazar buries breakaway goal 00:47 • November 14th, 2019 It continued throughout the season. Here's an example. I was out shopping for a dehumidifier and a kid recognized me. He looks at me and goes, 'Hey, you're the faceoff guy.' That's how I became known in Buffalo - the faceoff guy. Here I am, the new kid on the block, and I go out to dinner and people are bringing up overtime faceoffs. The thing I have learned about Sabres fans is that they recognize those small details. I feel like all they want is hard work and effort. And that is the foundation of my game. I might not always be successful, but I'm always going to give it my all and it's going to be very hard to beat me. I'm going to be very physical and strong. But I love the entertainment aspect of the game, too. I'm always smiling. I love interacting with the fans. I want to make it a chance for them to enjoy the night. I usually stay away from online comments, but I couldn't help but notice the positive feedback when I received the Masterton Trophy nomination in June. It was very comforting and reassuring, knowing the people in Buffalo truly enjoy having me on their side. That makes me very proud and makes me want to go out there and get the team back to the playoffs even more.
  18. I guess the name “Krackheads” was too controversial I like that little red eye in there
  19. Just got back from Walwart, I bought a pair of shorts. Get back on line and the ads all says "Shorts for sale" Google reads credit cards
  20. When you are driving behind some slow poke—but not tailgating!!—and you get the chance to pass and they speed up? Does that have a name?
