  1. He looks outstanding. Big strong and good puck handler. Everything Tage Thompson wants to be
  2. Hall, Staal and Cozens are playing better than Sam, Jack and Ollie right now
  3. Good period. If we get the PPs we can really take hold of this game
  4. This fake crowd noise?? Yes!!! We have a lead!!!!
  5. Get that first damn goal! Go Sabres! The two fish for $6?
  6. First game since they infected our team.... The Buffalo Sabres look to right the ship today in a matinee against the New Jersey Devils. The Sabres have looked totally lost since returning from their forced break. In contrast, the Devils have won both games since returning to play from their COVID pause. The Devils are coming off back-to-back wins during the week. They beat the Rangers 5-2 and the Bruins 3-2. Two impressive wins for a team coming off a two-week break. The Sabres have not found the win column since their return to play, and they look to change that today. Buffalo will face off against the Devils in three of their next four matchups, so they will become very familiar with New Jersey over the next week of games. The Sabres have played New Jersey twice this season, going 1-1-0 in those two games. The Sabres have been in an awful offensive slump since returning to play. Buffalo has only scored two goals through the nine periods of hockey they have played since resuming their season. Both of those goals came from Victor Olofsson on power play opportunities. So the Sabres have not scored an even-strength goal in three games. https://sabrenoise.com/2021/02/19/sabres-look-end-cold-streak-devils/
  7. Jack and Dahlin: oh ya, life goes on, long after the thrill of winning is gone
  8. From Buffalo News today: Waiting game Cozens, a 20-year-old rookie, told the media following the morning skate that he feels “really good” after his stay on the Covid-19 protocol list. The former first-round draft pick did not have symptoms, but NHL protocols prevented him from working out. Cozens is accustomed to the quarantine process. He estimated that he has spent approximately 35 days alone in a hotel room since Hockey Canada’s camp in Red Deer, Alberta, ahead of the IIHF World Junior Championship. “Yeah, I was adding up the days and since I think like November 25th, I’ve quarantined like 35 days or something, just in a hotel room,” Cozens said. “So, it’s been a lot for sure. It’s just something I’ve learned to deal with. You know, it is what it is. I was obviously disappointed when I found out I tested positive and had to do it again. But it’s just something you’ve got to battle and now I kind of don’t have to worry about it for a while.”
  9. Leads team in scoring, has improved in every facet of the game since coming here. Last night he got all into Chara and gave the big man fits. Great skater, great passer, and, oh ya, and that shot. I really apologize for being positive, but that’s just me.
  10. I just hope he is ok. There should be some sort of outside investigation about how this happened. Allow the NJ team to play and just basically ruin our season and seriously hurt one of our player can't just be swept under the rug. The NHL is a secrets kept league, but this needs to see the light of day.
  11. This team could shoot a person right on Delaware Ave in broad daylight and not lose any fans.
