We were going to get Price and Suzuki plus Montréal was picking up half of Prices salary. Adams wanted Montréal to throw in a sixth round pick too, that killed the deal

“Meatballs” won’t last as a nickname for Granato. Because it’s a stupid nickname . -
But that means we will have to leave Borgen unprotected ...

So, 24 hrs to go.

For the love of God what are they doing??/

Just changed the inter tube on by cycle on rear tire. Ugh! That’s was an adventure. Those new inflation stems suck, if you ask me. But glad I have the experience under my belt now to do again next time.

The next seven hours could see the fate of an empire sealed! Or or something like that 😉

So this has to happen real soon, right?

Oh, I love Risto, it is that he only has a year left on contract. I’d rather lose him for a year than Borgen for several. -

Risto will be exposed to draft and Seattle won’t take him. Borgen stays ...though. He is no Brayden McNabb -
Holtby is done

Nice thinking! This is all I know on the subject: Carolina might also be in the same situation with three goalies unsigned, I think. Boston and the Rangers both have several goalies. But there must be other teams with an over supply of goalies. This is could be the break we needed to get some talent there.

Good team move. No way Seattle puts that millstone around their neck. We can keep Borgen now. Risto won't be taken -
Annie Hall. On the street corner where they just walk away from each other

I have a bad feeling we will over pay for a washed up vet, like Vancouver did with Holtby -

We can always resign Hutton! Ducks.... -
Sign Ullmark and hope he is ok, use UPL for 30 or so games and have Houser and Tokarski in Rochester? Not sure I'd feel entirely confident in that plan but it could work out I suppose

As good?

I have no idea. I really think finding goaltenders is the most important issue . The first player picked doesnt always always turn into best player. Here is 2013, do you think the teams choosing got it right? #1Colorado Avalanche Nathan MacKinnon (F)9573210350560234 #2Florida Panthers Aleksander Barkov (F)952918128446598 #3Tampa Bay Lightning Jonathan Drouin (F)839369163232144 #4Nashville Predators Seth Jones (D)958065221286194 #5Carolina Hurricanes Elias Lindholm (F)9581139228367140 #6Calgary Flames Sean Monahan (F)9591204235439129 #7Edmonton Oilers Darnell Nurse (D)840645112157352 #8Buffalo Sabres Rasmus Ristolainen (D)954246199245291 #9Vancouver Canucks Bo Horvat (F)8502139175314148 #10Dallas Stars Valeri Nichushkin (F) Tampa should have taken Seth Jones but they turned out fine -
David Pagnotta: Sabres Exploring Trading Okposo to Seattle

Let’s see, he’s older, has a history of serious head injuries, is way overpaid. Ya, I’m sure Seattle would love to have him. This story makes no sense -

Jack Quinn: Interview back from hernia surgery

“I think it's exciting, that kind of a young core of great players you just mentioned, and I'm gonna do everything I can to try to be in that core, whether it's right off the bat or some point this season,” said Quinn “Be a good player like those guys, and I think it’s exciting that since we’re all young we can build together and go from there. We’re going to go the right direction and go up from there.” 👍
