  1. Coach Granato has not touched base with Jack Eichel yet? Did I hear that right? This sounds strange about Jack.
  2. We also might draft a defenseman high in the next draft.
  3. I was. Get Edmonton's four first rounders, use the money saved from Vanek to sign some new players and go forward from there.
  4. So, what we should have gotten for Vanek! I'd of let Vanek go, but not Jack
  5. I missed first, how’d they look? Toker in net now! Poor Hutton
  6. When is this cat going to get signed by Kevin Adams? Tomorrow it will be a Boston Bruin and we will all cry that Buffalo missed another one!
  7. There are actually more than a few players drafted in sixth round who have had solid NHL careers. Mark Stone, Anders Aleena and Linus Ullmark to name a few https://www.quanthockey.com/nhl-draft/en/round/6-round-draft-picks-active-players-all-time-points-leaders.html
  8. I caught Paul Hamilton on the radio yesterday on the way home from work and he said Granato was really putting through the toughest workout he had seen in awhile. That would sure explain the bad passing if they were not practicing hard.
  9. Houser played three seasons (2009 – 2012) of major junior hockey in the Ontario Hockey League with the London Knights. He was recognized for his outstanding play during the 2011–12 OHL season when he was selected as the OHL Goaltender of the Year[1] and named to the OHL First All-Star Team. Houser was also awarded the Red Tilson Trophy as the OHL's Most Outstanding Player.[2] Houser attended the Florida Panthers’ 2012 development camp,[3] and on July 9, 2012 the Panthers signed him to a three-year entry-level contract.[4] As a free agent at the conclusion of his entry-level contract with the Panthers, Houser was signed to a one-year AHL contract with the Ontario Reign, affiliate to the Los Angeles Kings on September 14, 2015.[5] As a free agent from the Reign, Houser attended the Columbus Blue Jackets training camp on a professional try-out. On October 14, 2016, Houser signed a one-year AHL contract with the Blue Jackets affiliate and defending champions, the Cleveland Monsters.[6] Houser appeared in a single game with the Monsters during the 2016–17 season, playing primarily with the Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL, registering 22 wins in 41 games. In the following off-season, Houser agreed as a free agent to a one-year, one-way AHL contract with the Tucson Roadrunners on July 28, 2017.[7] As a free agent, Houser continued his journeyman career in joining his fifth AHL organization, the Rochester Americans on a one-year contract on September 11, 2018.[8] He continued to play the duration of the 2018–19 season in the ECHL, returning for his fourth season with the Cincinnati Cyclones. As the starting goaltender for the Cyclones, Houser recorded his best professional season, collecting 29 wins in 41 games to be named to the ECHL First All-Star team and the ECHL's Goaltender of the Year.[9] On August 29, 2019, Houser as a free agent was re-signed by the Americans to a one-year AHL contract.[10]
  10. They do really look slow compared to other teams. Even Jack did not have that speed he use to. Are Too many chicken wings the problem?
