If you were another team, would you trade for Eichel now? I think his value is pretty low now with injury and this show of impertinence just made him even less valuable to a team.

KA is doing the right thing, no doubt.

KA will have to respond to this, I imagine. It's been his strongest tool, talking right to the public and answering questions. He is good at it and this calls for a statement at least

How do you trade a player that's seriously injured for fair value? KA, just hold course. If the punk wants to sit out, let him. If he can come back and shows he is good again then trade him for something worth getting. Can't see a team betting the farm on a broken down horse. Seriously, how did Jack get injured in the first place? Playing hockey! Not football. This situation is just so messed up

The way I see the Eichel deal, there is no way we should trade him unless we get a good starting goalie in the deal. I mean, if you want to start a winning culture, then start a winning culture! It starts in goal. If that does not happen, just keep him.

Good news is we actually have NHL depth back there, but the bad news it’s not that great depth.

Dahlin will be out to prove himself. Joki, too. Samuelsson is ready. Bryson is fine. Miller is ok. Pysak is a question mark as is Butcher and that other guy we got from Philly. It will be an ok D, not horrible at all, and maybe even pretty good with the promise of better things ahead. Power shows up later and is really good, during our push to make the playoffs 🙂

Tage took a punch for the team, too

I went to a Sabres game once with this woman from work. She had season tickets but her son couldn’t make the game. She was a BIG fan! So big that she just sat there talking the whole game, did not pay attention to game and had a great time, even though she could care less about the game itself. She would love this type of out reach. Would love getting pictures taken with players and buying tons of merchandise. But the product on the ice was a total after thought. She might be a pretty common type of fan.

I read an article that said our immune systems were actually in need of soft ware upgrades since the pandemic had separated us all for so long and regular pathogens (If that's the right term) are making their rounds and getting us while we are unprotected from stuff we would have normally experienced. Or something like that. Lot of people getting hit with colds lately

Dust has not settled yet, the Jack situation still up in the air. And I'd keep the ATM line together and have Samuelsson still in line up. Hope Pysak shows he still belongs in NHL. Also have a bad feeling that none of this matters if the goaltending stinks.

The part I hate the most is how the skaters will get blamed when the goalies suck. Dahlin will “suck,” the forwards will be denounced, the calls to blow up everything will be everywhere. Just remember, it’s the goaltending. Ok?
