Glad Skinner is moving over to Girgs and Ok. I've thought he would do best with them, just put your head down and work hard and the chances will come. Skinner isn't a great passer but can clean up when he line mates get the puck to the net.

I remember as a kid (late 70's) getting up and running to the drug store to buy a morning paper to see if the Sabres beat the LA Kings. They did. Like 6-1 and Gilbert had a really good game, if I remember correctly. Times have sure changed

When I was at the Boston game I got to see more than on tv. What really jumped out was he break out plays. Granato has a forward go all the way into the opposing players zone even when the puck is in our zone. That player is moving and they get open by generating speed in the offensive zone and coming out as the play moves forward. I thought that was interesting

The defense is really confident and skilled. Even when they are in all sorts of trouble they don't just try and ice the puck, no, its a short pass, they maybe another and they are moving up ice. Love that

If the goaltending continues to be good, we will probably be fine. The younger players will be given the breathing space needed to grow, chemistry between players will be given a chance to mature and confidence will increase. If the goaltending falls apart...

I’m watching now the replay and Anderson is just playing great. I also thought Tampa was going to stomp us. Gladly wrong! The goaltending is crazy, though. Never expected us to have decent goaltending. So happy
