Buffalo Wings

It's a team game, after all. My complaint (albeit late) is that I had something great to complain about, but completely forgot what it was.

What burns me the most about things like this is that I can't have kids and I watch this garbage all the time. JK+8, OctoMom, & people like who Swamp speaks of just annoy me. Seems like they have kids just to get the attention. Even my irresponsible brother-in-law has a baby boy about a year old. Don't get me wrong...as much as I was disappointed with our situation, I'm over it and the wife & I are enjoying our life as just the two of us (and dogs & cat). But this stuff I can't stand.

I've been Dilbert-ized for years. I just haven't complained about it recently.

We had a major firewall upgrade last night that went miserably bad. We thought we were done at 7:30, but when my boss' boss called me an hour later, the night had only begun. We were lucky enough to be able to back out and stabilize everything, but I'm on about 4.5 hours of sleep (I know...more than a set of newly-anointed parents usually get, but it's less than I'm used to). Then I walk in to the same guy that's been harassing me all week, telling me to do stuff that he should be coordinating. And no, I don't report to him. :censored:

Can't disagree with you there, but - and here's the fun part - the guy is supposed to be a peer of mine and he can't manage his own projects. When people are suggesting he come up with a plan, he throws others under the bus by saying he's not privy to the info he doesn't have, so make someone else do it. Not that he'd know the meaning of the word 'privy', either. :censored:

And it's not technically summer yet, either. One more complaint....why do I have to deal with people (who make more money than me) that try to dish off their work on me?

I can't get grass to grow in my back yard, so I mowed a bunch of dirt with grassy patches on Tuesday night and stirred up dirt & dust clouds the size of Texas. I think I'm still coughing from it.

It's other drivers for me (again). When you want to drive 45mph on the highway, please do it in the right lane. Also, when the light turns green, you don't have to wait 5 seconds to hit the gas. I may be impatient, but c'mon. I sincerely believe that the DMV needs to re-test people every 2-3 years (instead of every 8) and then make the tests difficult enough so that people on the road actually know what to do at a stop sign intersection.

I'm going to complain about people complaining. As I've gotten older, I try to be more positive about things and stop complaining about everything that doesn't go my way. However, I continually hear complaints from co-workers and family members about the same thing over & over again. If it's out of your control, then suck it up and deal with it. If it's something you can do something about, then STFU and do something about it.

Not as huge as inky's...but his most prominent feature is his freakishly huge stomach/abdominal area.

If you ever see this guy, you'd totally understand why that would never happen.

12+ years. My filter has officially been worn out.

#1 - I picked the Devils & Sharks to come out of their respective conferences. #2 - My wife's boss....he's blaming everything under the sun on her when the reasons those problems occur are 100% out of her control. She calls me a couple of times a day about this and she's (unfortunately) bringing the stress home with her. I'm ready to break this guy's nose.

I love it when people tag the message so that our email software labels it as a "high priority" and the sender really thinks it'll be treated as such. That seemed to be the "in" thing to do about 5 years ago....if it's really THAT important, one would think a phone call is in order. I've been in a bad mood all day....it seems to be national "I have a problem and you need to help me fix it" day. I guess I'll go golfing tomorrow whether or not someone gives me a couple million.

I simply can't stand everyone involved in this NYS employee layoff stuff. Not that state employees should be exempt from being laid off (I am one myself), but when the leaders start acting like 6-year-olds because they're all too arrogant, stubborn, and spoiled, it makes you want to throw a brick through a brick wall.

Arrogant people....especially those who walk up to your desk and start blabbing about their needs while you're in the middle of trying to fix something else.

I hate that too. 12 good games this weekend, then you have to wait 11 days for the FF.

My #1 complaint....Governor David Paterson.

I was sick of the word "bracket" even before Sunday. It's making me :sick: at this point.

Let's just say it's not a *federal* building.

I have an issue with the pedestrians in my office....those who walk slow enough to milk the last 5 hours of their day by going to the restroom & back.

Bingo. Mine is now starting to regularly snap at me in the morning when I pick her up...not a good sign. :(

I typically get the same reaction from a couple of co-workers, along with an "atta boy!"...then they realize I'm married.

My almost-13-year-old dog (shih tzu) decides she wants to pace on the bed at 3:30am this morning. She usually doesn't do that, so it's a clear sign that she's gotta go. The wife gets up to take her out and then neither of us get any sleep for the rest of the night.
