Yandle) (Stafford, Stewart dealt for picks/prospects at trade deadline) (McDavid, Zacha drafted via BUF, NYI 1sts) (Pat Kane signed via UFA. 8 years 88 million, + Pegula bonus off the books 20 million and minority ownership of the Bills ssshhh! ) I feel this lineup is a great mix of high end skill, physical presence and desire.

Jarome Iginla...... one can dream. He was Reinhart's favorite player. Who better to learn from? 1 year 12 million. Top line minutes with Reinhart and then pick's his team at deadline for Cup run. Sabres retain salary, receive 2015 1st in the 20's.....everyone wins!

I'd like to snag Brian Boyle. He is someone I would give the longer-term deal to. The guy is huge at 6'7. Hes good on face-offs, plays with heart, sells himself out to block shots. Just a great team player. Makes me think of a 1980 US Olympian type. If we are good in 2-3 years, guys like him are so crucial to team success in the playoffs. He also has a decent pair of hands. A dream world would have us landing Iginla for 1 year 10 million and selling him on top line ice time and leading the young kids. Then we deal him at the deadline to a team of his choosing. (1st round pick return required!) Obviously that is very unlikely to happen. Reinhart's favorite player growing up was Jarome Iginla. B. Boyle for 4 years 18 million. Ott for 3 years 12 million Gionta 2 years 8 million Orpik 2 years 7 million Moulson 1 year 12 million : Trade at deadline! (to team who plays the most games against NYI after the deadline)* If Tim Murray is actually able to sign some of the above names to steep $$$ 1 year contracts (as I'm sure he would want to) and then retain salary and trade them at the deadline for assets, he is a genius. Especially if that happens to be Moulson.

I hope TB buys him out....I'd claim him. Hes still young and a fresh start could turn him into a 70-80 point player. He could also help lure Kane here as they were a dynamic duo for the London Knights. Great chemistry.

I'm not "looking forward" to anything. I just wanted to point out to you....what you previously pointed out to me. So if you're gonna dish it out you better be able to take it too. If you want to call out people for posting off-topic ideas, fine. But then why are you doing it and then making excuses for it? I'm glad we agree on Yandle. He would be awesome. Sharks are apparently trying to trade Niemi, Cam Ward is another one but he'd have to be convinced to come here. I could see him ending up in Calgary for some reason. Pavelec is horrible so I'm sure the Jets would be thrilled to dump him. Hiller seems like a nice fit for the Jets. I would try and get Pavelec in a package with Evander Kane to lessen what we give up.
