In 02-03 the Blackhawks won 30 games, in 03-04 they won 20, in 05-06 they won 26, and in 06-07 they won 31. In 07-08 the captaincy was vacant and Toews was named captain a year later with Duncan Keith as an alternate. That's what tanking got them. They hadn't made the playoffs in 5 years and they weren't even close in that time.

I got saddled with young outsider but there were way to many I didn't agree with either answer. I'm pretty much right down the middle. Conservatives won't have me, liberals won't have me. And I won't be labeled...so consider me labeled lol

Am I reading cap geek wrong? I'm using Nathan MacKinnon as a reference here. It says his cap hit is only 925k. I see the bonus icon paying him 2.85 mil, but I can't see where that counts towards the cap. What's up?

I'm with you here. I don't like how his reviews sound but that doesn't mean he can't prove them wrong. We'll see in 3 years.
