Absolutely do this. If it doesn't feel good when you shoot it, you will never enjoy shooting it. Lots of people don't like glock. It's a very square gun and doesn't fit a lot of hands.

I was excited about that movie when I saw the trailer. But then some time went by and I realize that hadn't seen Dumb and Dumber for so long that I was actually just excited about that. So I went home and popped in the original. So good. Although I do still want to see hot tub time machine 2. Call it a guilty pleasure.

My brother is a cop who owns only glocks, therefore I own a glock. But I really recommend the Springfield XD series. It's a great pistol, and for everything that comes with it, the price is very difficult to beat. There are so many different models of XD that you'd almost be sure to find one to your liking. They have a safe action trigger as well as a grip safety. Check one out, see if you like the feel. Also, you can't go wrong with a Sig Sauer or an H&K. But they are much more expensive.

The PPX is nice. It's a pleasure to shoot. I've seriously considered buying it a few times. The trigger is very light however and there are zero safeties on the weapon, I mean none! Not even the safe action trigger that glock has. I remember the first time my lady and I went to the pistol range. She put her first shot dead center from 15 feet with a Beretta 92. She almost had a heart attack feeling the gun kick in her hands. Then she followed up by putting her next 5 shots in the center ring. She's a natural. I wanted to tape the target to the front door. She wouldn't allow it.
