  1. Good check, clean hit. Keep your head up, rook.
  2. Jack the Ripper
  3. At 2 to 3 payout it should actually pay 333.33. 525 will get you 350.
  4. I just assume that the Buffalo media pronounces every name wrong.
  5. Only a sith deals in absolutes.
  6. I'm with k-9 on this one. Get him a box of tissues. Then take him to McDonald's for a whamburger and some French cries.
  7. I don't bet on my teams or draft my teams players in fantasy. I haven't placed a bet in I can't remember how long. A decade? Unless it's super bowl prop action! Super Bowl prop bets are the greatest thing ever!
  8. 2) Cody Hodgson- He once had many of us, myself included, thinking that he was a hockey player.
  9. He's a Mayan Indian.... or Aztec, I get em mixed up. But come on, you're better than a 30 year old reference. Jake Arrieta went deep last night. Madison Bumgarner hits 4 dingers a year. They still bat under .200 and most of them(most, not all) look hilariously terrified in the batters box.
  10. Ugh,the pitcher is an instant out! Chicks did the long ball.
  11. I liked this take on the Harper/Papelbon situation. http://nypost.com/2015/09/28/baseball-brethren-bryce-harper-had-choke-coming/ Edit to add: Respect the game or be called out. What happens after that, happens.
  12. Harper isn't ready to change yet. His post game interview showed that. I was advocating the call out. Not the choke. I appreciate them fighting in front of the cameras for us to see and not just speculate. But you really shouldn't do that if you're Papelbon and you would like playing in the pros. And Pap blowing the save was great. I hate his ridiculous stare in. I still love it when he blows one.
  13. "Dude, run out the ball." What's wrong with that? Choking him in the dugout? Yeah, probably not a good idea.
  14. You'll get no argument from me on this. .... but he was right to call Harper out.
  15. That was the whole issue today. He pouted like a spoiled little kid in the batters box instead of busting it down the line on a pop up. Papelbon called him out on it in the dugout. Harper pouted some more. Then Papelbon attempted to strangle him.
  16. I was 1 in 86. I'll take your word for it. My teams manager sucks too, so I'm totally with you. Edit: I always had the impression that Gooden and Strawberry were more like rock stars, doing coke and banging hookers/groupies.
  17. His talent is undeniable. But he behaves like a spoiled child. It's off putting.
  18. Bryce Harper is a whining bitch. He's a petulant child. It's gonna be hard for me when he's a Yankee.
  19. Oh man! That's bad.
  20. HoF of what? Sh!tty quarterbacks? Quarterbacks that the Bills sodomize, regularly?
  21. Ellsbury can't get deep into a count to save his life right now. The table setters are not doing their jobs. Only Beltran and Bird are driving in runs and Girardi insists on using a 7th inning man who hasn't gotten 3 outs in the 7th inning in like 3 months. So now Betances is getting burned out, Miller is coming on in non save situations and out once unhittable bullpen is looking very much hittable.
  22. Ah yes, the Human Resources Era is alive and well. Gotta love the protecting of the sh!tty employees.
  23. The I just checked The Score app. It says we have 40 sog and they have 20 sog.
  24. To be fair, there aren't any real defensemen out there. Ham and Eggers, to borrow a boxing term.
