I've been telling her to go back to this for a year now. Huge pay cut, but it will be completely worth it in the end. The pros far outweigh the cons.

My wife just interviewed and was hired for a new job. Thank God! She has hated working in the casino industry for at least 2 years now. It was making her absolutely miserable. This new job puts her back where she belongs; helping people! She's back working with the mentally disabled and the elderly. It's her true calling and she used to come home from work happy every damn day when she had her old job. (totally my fault that she left that job, my bad). Anyway, I'm pumped that she's going to be doing what she loves doing, again.

OK, this is probably correct. I've said it on here before that I think Jaques Lemaire had a big hand in ruining hockey. The other hand would be the penalties never being called. The net expansion was more of a general musing on my part.

Can someone figure out what percentage of the net goalies occupied when there was actually scoring in the NHL vs what percentage of the net they occupy now? Take the difference and expand the nets by that much.

I went home to NY this weekend, the Bills were on the bye so NASCAR was on TV. I didn't miss watching football at all. I'm not even sure I like football as a sport anymore. I like the Bills. They can single handedly make or break my Sunday. But I definitely don't watch football when they aren't on.

This is why I have DirecTV only as a TV provider. I get my Internet elsewhere. I'm not willing to sacrifice DirecTV sports programming. It's so much better than everyone else's. Time Warner sucked, Comcast sucked(their Internet is awesome, though), switched to DTV and have had zero problems with anything, ever.

My girlfriend saw Ouija and came home from the theater all sketched out. She said the movie sucked but it was still freaky. I had already hung my Ouija board on the back of our bedroom door about an hour before she got home...... That was a fun night.

I'm a sucker for John Carpenter's Halloween. Loved Rob Zombie's version, but there's just something about the original. Full disclosure: I only like slasher films. Any other genre of horror is a guarantee for me not liking it. I hate the supernatural aspects of horror.

Handing out candy at my parents house in NY. Kids are f'ing rude/have no proper Halloween etiquette! 30% or less say thank you. 2% of parents correct them. The decline in manners will be the downfall of society.
