The fact that it's -12F outside means that it's too cold to grill. Never fear. I recently bought my very first cast iron skillet. Picked up 2 ribeyes this afternoon and decided to try and make steak indoors. F'ing nailed it! They came out great. I used an Alton Brown method of searing them on each side for 30 seconds then broiling them for 2 minutes a side. Pretty darn perfect medium rare. Throw in some mashed potatoes and green beans and I'm happy as a clam. For dessert I've prepared a nice Italian love cake with chocolate mousse topping.

Never again.

I like how I spelled the same word 2 different ways. At least I got it right once.

The only part I liked was the Genny pounder.

So, now that we have this recall thing totally straightened out... I'm very much looking forward to Bailey on the Sabres. I'm certain he can hit 100 mph. He glided into the first attempt for 95 then charged the 2nd attempt for 98. A little tweak in the wrists or legs and hes at 100. He'll be there (in the 100 mph range) regularly in 6 months or so. oh, and.....Jack was bad. Yeah, he was messing around having fun, but you could tell he wasn't powering up his shot deliberately, and I'm not sure what that accuracy attempt was....Other than ugly, that is.

That was the weakest bar fight I've ever seen. And why was the video cut up so much? How long could it have possibly lasted?

The menu for the superbowl party that I've invited no one to. Pizza, ham and cheese croissant rolls, chicken wing dip, funfetti cake mix dip(dunkaroos), bean & salsa dip, sausage bread, bacon wrapped Lil smokies. All homemade by the wife and I. Picked up a 12 of Genny Cream and I'm good to go!
