OK, Amazon just dropped off the bike rack and it's on the car. Now I've just gotta go pick up some bikes. My lady is pumped. She wants to start riding way more than I do.

I'm currently searching Craigslist for a new to me mountain bike. I've got one promising lead on a Marin that's more than a couple years old, but appears to be in good shape. Anyone have any place better for me to be looking? I'm looking for a hardtail as I dislike full suspension. Actually I'd prefer an entirely rigid bike. The problem I'm running into is its been hard for me to find a bike that's from pre 1995 that isn't completely decrepit. Why does everything need shocks these days? And should I get over it and cave in to modern technology? I've never really given it a chance. It just feels too spongy to me, like my tires are flat.

This makes me smile. I can't live with the Eagles fans around me being happy. This trade guarantees their misery for another 10 years.

It all started at Red Robin. I went in to get a Royal Red Robin burger (the one with bacon and a sunny side up egg on it.... So damn good!) And I saw that beer on the menu and I vaguely remembered it being mentioned here. So I tried it, my lady had a sip and she made me go buy a sixer so we could make root beer floats when we got home. Also so damn good.

Made root beer floats the other night with Not Your Father's Root Beer. They were good.

So I bailed on seeing pearl jam in Philly in favor of seeing Guns N Roses in Philly. The first day of softball was today! I had a nice little day. Dinger and two line drive gappers. We split our double header and my legs feel pretty OK. This was my first baseball/softball game without chewing tobacco since I was 16. It was very strange. I felt like a little kid with my sunflower seeds, but I think I can stick it out with the seeds for the season.

I don't get it.

I get about $1500 in tax write-offs every year for donating things that we don't use anymore that are always in good working order. We donate tons of things in my house. This is primarily driven by my wife though. I can't take credit.

Good, that was stupid. There is no 1 University of NY. There's SU, Army and UB. (football is all that matters, let's face it. I hate that this is true). Oh and all of them are pretty irrelevant at football.
