I've got 2 Ball Pythons. They dispose of rodents very efficiently.

Justice is probably my favorite Metallica album. Don't get me wrong, I love Puppets and I love Ride the Lightning. Creeping Death may be my favorite Metallica song ever. But there is just something about ...and justice for all. Something about that album just clicks with me. I don't skip a single song on the entire CD.

I need to buy an alarm clock. I have worked swing shift my for the past 12 years. 6pm - 2am, or 7pm - 3am. Alarm clocks didn't exist in my world. I went to sleep when the sun started peeking, and I woke up whenever I felt like it. I'm on grave shift as of 3 days ago. That means up at 12:45am every day and work til 10:30am. It's pretty sweet, and I actually really like it. However, an alarm clock is now a must have! I don't trust myself with my cell phone. I feel like I'm going to silence or dismiss the alarm. Once I'm up I'm fine, but waking up to an alarm....man, I feel like every time it goes off I gasp, my eyes fly open and I shoot up to a sitting position. I haven't needed to be woken by an alarm since sophomore year of college. My first sophomore year!

To be perfectly honest, I don't think I could tell you 3 of my professors names.

So why don't we run that system? Seriously? It's been around for a decade and a half and there is film of every snap they've ever taken. How has some other coaching whiz kid nott been able to break it down and make it work? It seems to me that zero of the coaches that run the system, besides Bill can run it anywhere else besides New England. Matt Cassel took over a team that didn't lose a single game in the regular season, and pretty much nothing had changed. He won 5 less games and our division had the easiest schedule in the world because the conference sucked. And he took a roster that was nearly perfect one season prior, and he managed to win 5 less games. I'm rambling, it's 1 am and I need to get ready for work.

My kid saw the trailer a few days ago and asked if we were going to go see that. I promptly went to my DVD room(yep, it's a whole room, I had a severe addiction) and I pulled the Blu-ray of the original Magnificent Seven from the shelf, and we sat down and watched that. When we were done I told him, "there, now you've seen the one that matters."
