2 days ago I went to a coffee shop for the first time in my life. I had lunch with my lady. It was good. Really good. Excellent sammich! Today was my first time ever going to a brewery. We have a little family friendly brewery and tap room that's right around the corner from our place. I drank craft beer. I never drink craft beer. Atmosphere was a little different, but fun. Lots of flannel, knit hats, beards and a guy with a beret. The beer was fine. Craft beer still isn't my thing. The food was pretty darn good though. I was impressed. The awesome part is the bill was 32 bucks! Fed 3 people, had 4 beers. A good night.

Difference being "a few decades" as compared to only one? It was though no time had passed. No one had changed in the slightest. It felt like summer during sophomore year of college. But then again, I didn't like high school very much, so why would I enjoy a reunion? More my fault, I'd say. Now, a college reunion? That would be a whole different story...

I went to my 10 year, realized that I still don't like everyone that I didn't like in high school, that the dumb are still dumb, the drunks are still drunks and the people that I like can all hang out at the bar or restaurant anytime we're all in town. I can't wait to not go to my 20 year.

I agree. My buddy and I hang out every year on deadline day for drinks and food. Last year was the worst, most boring deadline day ever. I expect this year to be more of the same.

I'll be round tripping it so I'm down for pre-game, but as for post game it will be a fond farewell and me dragging my ass back to northeast Pennsylvania. I've got a busy, busy weekend!
