The Home Run Derby is the greatest spectacle in any sports All-Star festivities. It's simply the best. Nothing comes close.

We went and saw Jason Aldean the other night. Other than the venue being oversold, and it taking 2 hours at 50 minutes to get into a venue that is 17 minutes from my house, it was a good time. The band was tight. It was the first concert on their summer tour. Good stage show for a country band. Not quite Garth Brooks level, but still good.

Take em both. Any Yankees fan that says otherwise is insane. Always trade prospects for 23 year old monsters who are already top 3 at their position in the pros.

Juan Soto just turned down a $440 million extension with the Nationals. The Nat's will be looking to trade him if they have any sense. He's 23 years old. The Yankees should really empty the farm system for this guy. The only teams that can really afford him are the LA's the NY's(Mets are out though, no way the Nat's trade him in the division) BOS, and maybe SEA.

I haven't seen the bonus features dvd for a while, but if I remember correctly, the scene was supposed to be just a silhouette so they didn't care of it was Connery or not.

Don't blame Connery for that. It's his stuntman, Bob Simmons for the first 3 movies. Connery didn't film the shot until Thunderball.

Holy cow, he was 28 in that scene! I'd have guessed 48. Man, the 70's were rough on people.

One of my dogs has gone and decided to be epileptic. Gotta pick up the seizure meds tomorrow. He had his first seizure 2 years ago after getting into the tulips in the garden. Then he had another one exactly one year later and I dug up all the bulbs. I figured it had to be environmental. Then he had 2 on Tuesday night and one of them lasted for over 4 minutes. NOT environmental! Blood work showed nothing out of the ordinary. A completely healthy dog. Turns out they can just develop epilepsy out of nowhere.

Yep! Thanks to COVID no one questions my mask. I'm in the office now for most of the time. I've been promoted off of the casino floor as of about 8 months ago. I still go out there and handle things, but I'm not required to stay in the pits now.

Roll into work, fire someone, eat pie, throw a dip in....I should be allowed to drink at work. That's 3 in the last 2 weeks. I'm sure there will be at least 6 more this summer. The next big time for me is Christmas. I'll lose another 8 or 10 between Christmas Eve and New Years Day.

Pretty good UFC event last night. The first fight of the night ended quick in round 1 with a snapped arm(beauty). Alex Volkanovski is just awesome to watch fight. Just an absolute beast of a human. Pieced up Max Holloway for 5 rounds with a broken right hand and wasn't losing for even 1 second of the fight. Unbelievable. Oh and Israel Adesanya is awful to watch fight, still!
