  1. So a sabre can get his ass kicked by a bruin? Again.
  2. If it comes in the next 15 minutes, I'll keep ya posted.
  3. Sam created a good opportunity for himself right there.
  4. It's a Charley horse. Ok, no it isn't.
  5. Watching on stream. No commercials. Which Discover commercial?
  6. https://twitter.com/i/moments/961981798245945344 Presented without comment.
  7. I'm of the same mindset, here.
  8. I'll be very surprised if Korea scores a goal this tournament. I want to shred that slopestyle park.
  9. The skis are free. All provided by the US ski team. Slalom skis, giant slalom skis, super g skis and downhill skis. Then they will have the exact same ski and binding setup with different wax setups for different snow temperatures. That way they don't have to scrape down, brush, wax, scrape and brush every single time the weather conditions change, just switch skis. I raced with one of our Olympians all through junior high. I'll name him when he brings home another medal.
  10. Shani Davis being a whine ass. https://deadspin.com/weve-got-some-beef-over-who-gets-to-carry-the-american-1822829407
  11. Goodnight all! I'm gonna call it for tonight. Thoroughly happy as of now.
  12. That was beautiful!
  13. I don't love the stripe pattern and I severely hate the NY in the logo, but man, I love the colors!
  14. Really? My wife even got a couple bucks, and she's firmly poor as hell.
  15. Western is right next to Westernville and they are 6 miles outside of Rome, NY. There's one street, a county route, Lake Delta and Woods Valley, a small ski hill. Other points of interest in Westernville are General William Floyd's house (it's a nice, decent size, old ass country house) and his grave(it's nothing special). He signed the declaration of Independence, by the way. As far as I can tell, Western, NY is a road sign on rt46, about 500 feet before the road sign that says Village of Westernville.
  16. Remember that whole "me being a plumbing expert" thing I was bragging about in the awesome thread a couple weeks ago? Yeah.... So the roto rooter guy just left. No I didn't botch the job. I'm just in no way qualified to tackle the whole snaking out of my main drain pipe that just had to take place. Sucked, but it's done now and I'm relieved.
  17. Nonsense. You go to "the spot" and you drink. Heavily. And Remsen is CNY. And a minimum of 2 hours and 30 minutes to the threshold of WNY.
  18. My 2 favorite shoes and my 2nd favorite skis. All from one family. Go figure.
  19. Aldi doesn't really do name brand, per say. I'm not a fan of their sliced bread and I don't particularly like their peanut butter. But their canned veggies are the same as any other canned veggies. Their chicken tastes like chicken and my kid likes their skid row Samoa cookies. My wife categorizes the grocery list into what things are cheapest at which store. She knows how much everything costs, everywhere. Me, I couldn't tell you if a gallon of milk is more or less expensive than a gallon of gas.
  20. That's a bad look for JD. He still may end up signing with them in the long run. Oh and for the first time ever I'm on the owners side in a situation. They don't want to pay this weak ass free agent class and all the wannabe superstars are crying like . You ain't worth what you want, boys. Deal with it. If only this line of thinking was prevalent when the Yankees inked that trash contract with Jacoby Ellsbury.
  21. Great Satan or not, their groceries are cheaper than most. 1 stop at Aldi's and 1 at Walmart saves about a billion dollars over shopping at Wegmans for the same sh!t.
  22. I've never even seen a Costco. I swear. Sam's Club and BJ's are the ones I'm familiar with not shopping at.
  23. Yeah, I picked up 34 bucks a week. But I will lose a grand off my tax refund next February, sooooo...yay. I'll make 700 beans in the long run. And it will go down each year.
