you should have punched the guy who compared him to Kessle right in the face. Eichel is a work out machine On the latest round of strength testing, he front-squatted 320 pounds, cleaned 335 pounds, had a close-grip bench press of 250 pounds, a pull-up max of 25 reps, and body fat percentage of 6.3 percent. Kessle spends his down time playing vids with his boy Bozak while munching Boston Cream Donuts. Who knows how good Kessle would be if he had the same drive-to-be-great that Eichel does?

2 Sabres prospects playing in the Subway Series this week Sam Reinhart will play with TEAM WHL Nick Bapiste for TEAM OHL I think Bapiste needs a big tourney in order to be considered for TEAM Canada due to his slow/injured start to the year.

Have you figured out the cap level of this line-up? just wondering if you would hit the floor? Plus im going to say that Myers gets traded this year for a winger who will play for the Sabres next year.

I disagree, the Anti-Tankers are clearly wrong!

Going to see that McDavid guy tonight vs the Ice Dogs (worst team in OHL). Over/under for points by McDavid? Im thinking 4.5 and would lean to the over

Short Term pain for long term gain? Think of it as an investment, your buying low right now and in a few years your tickets will be extremely valuable. Plus look at all the back-up goalies you may get to see play - Al Montoya, Thomas Griess, Devon Dubnyk, Teto Berra and more. Not often you get to see these stars play live! though granted, easy for me as a non-season ticket holder to say.

if they pick up points in any of the next 5 games - I think its time to find out what Linus Omark, Alexander Sulzer, Jamie Mcbain and Zenus Konopka are up to and sign them up to help finish this thing out.

could you get anything at all for Stafford or Stewart at this time? i couldn't imagine either of them being worth even a 2nd round pick at this point.

I was driving last night and thought if it gets real tight between Eichel and McDavid and a Team like Carolina, Arizona or anyother American team that struggles at the gate gets the #1 pick - would they lean toward Eichel because of his Nationality? I wonder how much people in those cities know or if they have even heard of McDavid? so mabye they draft the "potentially" best player to ever come out of the States, even if they rate McDavid slightly better? Curious what you guys in the States think.

I don't get that impression. I think he is offensive first and may even have a bit of a river boat gambler in him at times. He just skates so fluidly and without effort that he would be able to eat up a lot of minutes. Though I wouldn't be surprised if he gets passed by Werenski, Zboril and Provorov.
-
This if from Future Considerations about Kylington. He doesnt really get a lot of minutes per game. think under 10 - so I would be careful just looking at his stats. "Exceptionally poised, mature, two-way defenseman…handles the puck well and likes to join the rush…plays with impressive confidence and is absolutely fearless with the puck on his stick…doesn’t possess a bomb of a shot, but knows how to put the puck on target...quite impressive top speed and acceleration, especially in offensive situations…not overly big and has some defensive positioning issues to sort out…minute-munching ability as this kid just has ice water flowing through his veins" My Guess at this point the Top 10 plays out 1) McDavid 2) Eichel 3) Hanifan 4) Marner 5) Strome 6) Barzal 7) Kylington 8) Svechnikov 9) White 10) Zacha

The only thing Pi$$ing me off as much as the Sabres not having a perfect record in the Carrion is the fact that the Blues continue to win in the NHL - I would have thought 3 injured centres would set them back a bit. From what little I've seen of them i can say Tarasenko is a real player.

Look who is hot now - back to back hat tricks for Marner this weekend - a feat only done once by Patrick Kane in his 62 goal season with the Knights and never done by Corey Perry in his career there. I honestly believe he may end up being 3rd behind McDavid and Eichel. In his last 3 games Marner has 7 Goals and 2 Assists - not quite McDavid pace but...
