I am on board too. Just wish it didn't cost them Byram on top of Cozens seems a pretty steep price to pay. You just have to you beat the next best deal I'm probably an idiot for thinking it would eventually work but I still like the idea of having Dahlin, Power and Byram when they are all 25+

Let's be honest. This team is at least 2 years if not 3 years away from being good.

I'm so tired of people blaming a 22 year old player for the teams issues Once he get traded to a legit NHL franchise and is paired with a RHD vet that complements his game, he will flourish Then all the people here , who constantly trash him, will wonder why that version of Power was never in Buffalo

Loved hearing Ruff say that "this teams misses the net way too often" Hello Alex Tuch complained about the two 2v1s at start of 2nd period and neither resulted in a shot on goal. of course Tuch was responsible for creating the 2v1 but was also unable to complete the pass and chance was wasted One indication that things are about to turn around for this team will be Tuch being slotted on the 3rd line with the wingers on line 1 & 2 clearly being better than him. Until that day, the team will be mediocre to terrible

No, but if he was even a slightly decent owner the guys out on the ice tonight would be Sam Reinhart and Jack Eichel and who knows who else? But he is a terrible owner who doesn't put his money where his mouth is -

Remember when some thought Buying out Jeff Skinner was a bad idea? "Decision to healthy scratch Oilers' Jeff Skinner a long time coming You could feel it coming — almost hear it — like a train in the distance, the decision to healthy scratch one of Jeff Jackson’s big free agent signings this past summer. As inevitable as Christmas or New Year's Day, Jeff Skinner’s seat in the Anaheim press box on Sunday had been waiting for him for weeks now."

Draft picks aside....this organization has no FA/Trade leverage
Crusader1969 replied to ASlugAbove's topic in The Aud Club
I agree that the Eichel surgery weighs heavily on them in attracting UFA's and getting off players NTCs. Think it's now the biggest hurdle they face. That's why I'm a proponent of getting rid of everyone involved in that situation, including the owner 100%. The narrative would be completely different if they didn't have Hasek -
Not sure if there is news out there but just seeing on X that Rob Ray has just disappeared. strange that it's not being mentioned on the broadcast if this is true. I respect that maybe he has asked for privacy Hopefully everything is ok with him

Draft Top 3 This Year, Win the Lottery Next Year
Crusader1969 replied to JoeSchmoe's topic in The Aud Club
Sure but you had maybe the worst defense combined with terrible goaltending. It's a tough balance for sure. That's the Sabres biggest dilemma, getting vets who can still play at a high level, cause they all have no trades and won't sign as an UFA -

Tanking with honour ? will you be upset if they trade away all the UFA's by the trade deadline? -
I'll take the Lombardi over the MVP. It may not be a popular opinion but I don't care who wins the MVP
