  1. Lack luster effort.
  2. They usually do give up the empty net goal.
  3. Pass two weeks have exposed the Sabres as a soft team
  4. Forecheck and grinding it out along the boards takes grit and will power....not talent. This is what is lacking in the team.
  5. Stop trying to make perfect passes. Get the puck on the net and crash it to pick up the rebound then score.
  6. Half of this team is going through the motions. Hate to say it but we saw this act last year.
  7. The Sabres have settled into middle of the pack play. Making the play offs not a given. Playing with little confidence. They are not handling the pressure NYI and others are bringing.
  8. No one wants to grind along the boards.
  9. Power plays are very valuable when playing a team that clogs the passing lanes and is stifling in their own end. That last PP was frustrating to witness.
  10. Stop the blind back hand passes
  11. GEEZZZZZZ Nice way to kill the penalty is to pass back and forth at the point while a defender has no stick. ARGH
  12. It will take hard work to score tonight. Follow up on rebounds will help.
  13. Face it, This team played a disjointed and soft first period. Washington cruised the rest of the way. Not a good game. The Sabres lose to a top team and it was not close.
  14. This team needs to learn to play physical in their own end. Win battles along the boards. And how to clear the zone smartly. Washington is too good to make these bad and soft plays
  15. Finally they break the ice and score.
  16. SIGH......good hustle but you have to finish. Washington is giving them opportunities to score.
  17. GEEZ...Rod. you got to get a better shot on goal.
  18. The Sabres have had chances to score but Holtby and the post have stopped them.
  19. They are not wrong. It is like watching Pee Wee hockey.
  20. Jack has made some really bad plays this season that has lead to goals.
  21. I would say not one goal was really his fault.
