Botterill has to see his standing pat was a mistake. Blow up the roster. Bring in guys with heart, grit and the will to play hard.

Same script from last year being played out. Players are not doing what is needed to win.

IMO this game will dictate what the rest of the season will be. So far this team has underwhelmed. Lose tonight and the outlook is bleak.

They have no one passionate or mad enough to drop the gloves.

Post game flight home should be fun. Keep playing the "high lights" of their play in their own end. I am over this squad. Phil was to blame last year. Now who will be the whipping boy. Botts stop drafting soft players.

Botterill has populated this roster with guys who have no grit. Too many mental mistakes. That last goal was about the face off, grind it out along to boards, physical and smart defense. Sabres failed on all accounts. IMO Jack should lose the C to shake him up. His defensive lapses are glaring. This team could make the play offs but they have played badly for the month of November. They need to make a move to get a body in here to fill in the short comings.

Game, Jack cruises in after letting him man skate free in from the corner. This team is sloppy at the end of periods.

Buffalo PK did a great job. Nothing said. TB is not done and already he called it a great PK. That is some bias.

TB has been giving up goals as of late. Now they shut down the Sabres. Repeat of last season?

This is the glaring need on this team. No grit. No toughness. No willingness to get physical.

Lack of physicality on that goal.

Five days to playing Tamp Bay in a back to back. This can go south quickly.

Little to no offensive threat. One post was all they had. NYI shut them down consistently
