The skater was moving at speed. He is a solid skater but that was all on Hall. Olofsson not hustling back did not help.

The Sabres used to have a really good scouting group and drafted well. Have been a dumpster fire the past 15 years and the product on the ice shows it. Draft has been a nightmare and it will not get better for YEARS.

2004 they purged the department and went to an all video scouting system. Look at the years of 2005-2011 and the wasted drafts.

This may explain why they stink on ice in the shoot out.
