A collective who? But they have torched the Sabres. Incredible that some hocky wags said the Sabres were a playoff dark horse in the preseason predictions. This team quit long ago. I miss Lindy Ruff and his morning after bag skates. These guys screw up with out and thing other than a talking to.

I met Tom Joles. Really nice guy. Van Miller was a salty dog off camera. Those news teams in the 1970s were like a trusted friend. Not any more.

The Sabres make them look better than they are. The Sabres are not aggressive, sloppy passing and no will to go in front on a consistent basis. They make it easy for the opposing goalies.

Sabres need a person who knows hockey to team up with the GM to come up with a plan to rebuild the whole organization. Make a decisive move to a team identity. The hire a HC and staff to work to make that identity happen. Tear this down and treat it like a pseudo expansion team. The bandage approach has been a failure. If this team wins five more games, it will be a minor miracle.

The skater was moving at speed. He is a solid skater but that was all on Hall. Olofsson not hustling back did not help.

I would start sitting guys for their poor play. Then that may mean sitting a dozen or so skaters.

Sabres have been a bad franchise for 20 years. Not all Pegulas fault. Since the end of the 2000-2001 season they made the playoffs four times. Tonight they might as well embrace tanking.
