Another fast start but stumbling finish. Have not answer the Stars play. Too much speed and turn overs. -
Lose the third and the OT. Played two good periods but this team is not mentally tough. Third period collapses are common for them. OT is a guaranteed loss. Granato has a lot to fix.

They do not have a guy on the PP who has a good slap shot. They do wind up but usually pass it

Yep. Can not argue that point. At least he gave 30 plus minutes of shut out goal tending.

I have seen this team with talent and not show up for games. Half the game is mental.

I bought a case last October when I went to a Bills game. It will hold me until the Fall.

It is more than that. It is attitude and determination.

Can never figure this team. Last game they produced a sixty minute gag reel of hockey. Tonight they are playing well and look like a real NHL team.

I think the string of injuries has something to do with strength, conditioning and flexibility. Injuries are part of the game but the Sabres seem to have more than its share of injured players.
