Miller is tanking at the wrong time. 4 losses in last 5 games. He gave up 4 goals in each loss.

Sabres must get goal scorers in the off season. Averaging less than 2 goals a game is brutal in an 82 game season.

The worst team in the NHL draws back goalies and the poorest ref crews.

Leino has bad luck scoring. He would miss on a break away to an open net.

I started playing goalie in 1970. I saw some gruesome injuries guys got when they played with out it. I wore a mask that is pathetic by today's standards.

He got scored on in the last game that way. Easy cross ice pass but when Hackett shifts right he opens up too much. It can be corrected thru training and practice.

The Sabres played rope-a-dope and almost made it out of the period. Still have a chance to beat the tank.

Hackett should have had that one. He left the 5 hole open too. The guy needs to work on it in the off season.

Sabres are playing good team defense. They do have problems clearing the zone but that has been a season long problem.

Detroit is not the Detroit of old. They will be out after the first round. Sabres....well....have a nice summer guys.

The last 2 home games will be bittersweet. I will be glad this steaming manure pile of a season will be done but it will be the end of an era in Buffalo sports. RJ and Roby will be hanging up the mic. No one calls a game like RJ. He made the season bearable to listen to. Roby always gave good insight and called things straight. No sugar coating. Change happens but you don't have to like it. On a different note...the Sabres are playing a good, solid game.

Second to last home game, I expect the Sabres to show up but that in the end, Detroit wins.

It is every man for himself time. No one has much fight left in him. They just want the season to end.

This squad will look very different going into training camp. Draft picks, Free agents and maybe a trade or two. I don't see Murray being very idle.
