You need good goalies and I think Enroth fit that bill. He kept them in many games. Some games were a bore but this team had good outings and it is good to see the young guys develop. I am not a cynic but a realist. Rebuild is a struggle. The season, with out a good goalie (Lindback is not it) will be brutal. Those 2 need to go.

Your insight is well... banal. I am not being sentimental. I don't drink and I am very chill. Kane is and will be a talented head case. I don't see him as a Sabre for very long. It was a a throw away of talent for a shot at tanking and getting McDavid. A bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush.

Kane is a talent but not for Buffalo. Traded for a head ache. He gets healthy trade and get bodies. Bogosian for Myers is equal. The rest for Kane was too much. Stafford had to go because he had hit his limit but a 1st, Armia and Lemieux? This has the potential to blow up in Murray's face.

I noticed Enroth's glove work is improved since the beginning of the season. He was dropping it too low now he is stopping those shots that were going in. The coaching staff is making progress with some players.
