PK is worn out.

This team is not as talented as the one from 2 years ago but the play with more heart, grit and determination. That is why Nolan is a success in my eyes. You know that some in the tank crowd wanted a pathetic product on the ice. While it would garner the top pick, it would take years to overcome that attitude. Next year The Sabres will be an improved team.

This team, even if we want them to tank, are not rolling over and getting blown out. They are playing teams tough and trying to win each game. That aggravates the tank crowd. They are 2 wins short of matching the past 2 seasons (21 wins). I am enjoying this game so far.

I have the TV on mute. Pierre McGuire sounds like a PR shill for Tampa.

Last nine games of the season includes 2 against Coyotes, and one game each against Carolina and Toronto. Race to the bottom will be on.

Sabres, if they are trying to tank, are doing a lousy job of it. Playing top teams tough and not rolling over and quitting. That shows that they have character. Only down side is the possibility of losing out on the top two draft picks.

Indeed. The maturation process of the younger guys is evident. They are playing like a team and not a group of individuals. Nolan and his staff have done their job.

This is the first time I can truly say I am bummed that the Sabres are winning. This will really stink if this victory ends up being the reason they don't get the top draft pick.

Good solid game being played against the best team in the NHL.

Ennis scores. Leave it to a former Sabre (Goose) to screw up so they had the scoring opportunity. Nice, physical, defensive game by both teams.

I expected a let down after the emotional game against Philly. There was little emotion or fire from a lot of the guys.

Nash has 36 goals...a third of what the Sabres have. That is sobering. :)
