    I’d like to see the Amerks current roster now. It seems really loaded. Both in skill and in just the number of players…. Theyre loaded. They have to be a Calder Cup favorite, no?

    Got 5 points in 14 playoffs games which is a lot better than his regular season pace and more importantly was a plus five in the playoffs. I think he is a future Sabre….

    Honestly, does anyone think the Sabres ever make the high skill line of: Benson - Krebs - Savoie? Or is that line too small to succeed in the NHL? is there a current comparable? Or even a past comparable?

    I think it’s somewhere in between. There’s no way this is definitely a playoff team and there’s no way it is not a playoff team. We could be much better with a better #4 RHD, a true #1 goalie or another top winger. I wanted another winger before Quinn got hurt. And I think it’s foolish to count on Quinn much this year…. Our third line looks average at best this year…. Greenway - Krebs - Casey….. and Casey is probably going to the 2nd line…. I wanted four good lines…. I wanted to add a player like Killorn before Quinn got hurt…. I think Savoie and Kulich should stay in minor leagues…. I don’t see why KA didn’t want his talent to force their way on the Sabres…. Looks like we’ll be giving them jobs instead.

    I voted aggressively for change but I don’t think the questions are as clear as it appears in this questionnaire…. What I really want is for the team to get much better. I don’t think we’re there yet. I appreciate that KA is between a rock and a hard place as far as getting help for the next two years and no more as we should have several players definitely NHL ready by then. He wants spots open to the kids if they appear close to ready for this year and next year as well. However, I don’t want to see the Sabres miss the playoffs ever again. The defensive adds are huge. The five rookies from last season getting better for us this season is huge even though it’s only four now, But these are not guarantees…. I’d like to see more upgrades for this season. Maybe a #1 goalie. Maybe a 3rd line center great at face-offs. We could use both. I was a bit excited when we didn’t sign Jost. I like Jost and all but was hoping for a known upgrade. The only lines right now we have that are in ink are the first and the fourth….

    I want both. The Sabres can do both. Though I see the frustration in your comment. I think the Sabres should do something as well…. A few transactions and we should be able to tangle with the big boys and be better than the 8th seed. I can’t wait to watch our five rookies from last season take another big step. The fact is though that the Sabres might only need that #4 RHD to improve dramatically….

    Casey - Krebs - Greenway girgs - Jost - Ox (Rousek)? But We need help @ F/Os….. Third line needs a sniper…. Fourth line could use more scoring output…. Just like last year? Help coming from Quinn, Cozens, JJP, Krebs, Casey getting better?

    And if they are really willing to spend money on a 1st rate #4 RHD, maybe that means they are ready to go for it and possibly add a couple more vets? Like a goalkeeper or 3rd line center or a 4th line rugged forechecker? Maybe KA thinks it’s time? I do… or, at least, I think the fans of Buffalo deserve to go to the playoffs and that we really have a good team that with a few changes could go deep next season with any luck….
