  1. Ugh...let me clear my throat won out...disappointed it wasn't swords
  2. Jack eichel! Rj really flubbed that call
  3. Gamecenter is free all month and also check the nhlstreams subreddit
  4. BOLD PREDICTION: SABRES COME OUT SWINGING IN THE THIRD AND WIN 4-2 I missed the first two periods but am now in front of a TV with a beer in hand. Glad they got the jitters out in the first two periods now it's time to wake the #### up and play some hockey. I wanna hear that goal song.
  5. What I'm most excited about is having actual talent for RJ to call the game to. It's not Sabres hockey without him calling the games while he's still able.
  6. Ugh. I am an idiot and booked a flight that takes off at 6:38 pm today and doesn't land until 8:08 pm in Buffalo. Hopefully the wifli on jetblue is powerful enough to run hockey streams, if not I'll settle for audio. Can't wait to watch the Sabres smear the ice with these Ottawa jerks.
  7. "Say man, you score any points last night?" "Uh, no, not last night." "You'd be a lot cooler if you did."
  8. Well that puts to rest to question of what to do with our 13th forward.
  9. Whats more probable to happen first, Sabres get a shutout or Sabres get shutout?
  10. TSN put out an article today listing the top line for each team going into the season: http://www.tsn.ca/top-30-lines-heading-into-nhl-season-1.372439 8 teams they have a "1" and "1A" line due to certain teams being stocked with so much talent there's no clear cut definition of a first line. It's nice to see the Sabres listed as one of those 8 teams. Anaheim, Chicago, Detroit, Edmonton, Pittsburgh, San Jose and Tampa Bay are the other 7 teams on that list. Pretty good company to be in. Things are starting to come up Sabres!
  11. Unofficially, yes. Officially, they have to have the roster down to 23 sometime tomorrow.
  12. I give up on the game and go out and they've got 4 goals now? Talk about a wake up call
  13. This is not how I pictured how it would look at the end of the first period....GET IT TOGETHER!
  14. Happy to oblige you, for Columbus, that is: FORWARDS: Calvert, Craig, Rychel, Milano, Karlsson, Bjorkstrand, Hannikainen, Chaput, Boll, Sedlak, Tynan, Broadhurst DEFENSEMEN: Bodnarchuk, Connauton, Falk, Goloubef, Kukan, Prout GOALIES: McElhinney, Thiessen I don't recognize a single name on that list so I'm expecting nothing short of a slaughter. "A handful of Sabres who skated in Thursday’s 6-1 loss in Minnesota will play again Friday. Bylsma confirmed thatSam Reinhart, Johan Larsson and Rasmus Ristolainen will be back in the lineup and he expects a better effort from all of them." With Reinhart & Larsson being in tonight. I wonder who the odd man out in the bottom 6 will be. Legwand?
  15. Legend has it that Jack eichel is boarding in those brows.
  16. The schedule on nhl.com lists the broadcasto for all the games.
  17. Sounds uglier than I would have guessed. Sabres down 3-0 and being outshot 16-3. The bright side is that it's an ahl squad vs and nhl squad tonight, one last ghastly reminder of the past two years.
  18. Wgr550 is streaming the audio on their website wgr550.com
  19. Radio just said Patrick kale take has left the ice already.
  20. Tomorrow's game is being broadcast by msg so locals can watch it on TV and the rest of us can catch a stream
  21. I see it not as a case of Legwand vs. Larsson, or not even a battle between any two specific players but a competitions among 5-6 players (Reinhardt, Larsson, Legwand, Foligno, Deslauries, McGinn) who will we rotating in and out of the line-up as Byslma sees fit. If Reinhardt has a bad game or two he's gonna sit and Larsson goes in and plays until Legwand has a bad game, etc. I think these players will be pushing each other to perform well and that'll drive the bottom line pairings as well....until the injuries kick in.
  22. Blysma was saying that he A. Doesn't want to have guys play 3 pre-season games in a row and B. Have the final preseason game tomorrow vs. Columbus reflect the opening night roster so what we have today are the scraps. I think the exceptions for 3 in a row will be Risto since he missed most of camp and hopefully Reinhardt (because I want to see him playing with the "real" line-up)
  23. per wgr550: Here are tonight’s lines: Foligno Girgensons Kaleta McGinn Larsson Reinhart Rodrigues, C.O’Reilly Akeson Carrier Schaller Ellis The defense is Pysyk, Ruhwedel, McCabe, Ristolainen, Leduc and Donovan. How many shifts does Kaleta get before he injures himself or gets thrown out of the game for being to amped up? This should be the last preseason game where we see "scrubs" playing and I'm not actually upset that this one won't have a stream. Here's the Wild's lineup from their website. It'll be interesting to see the Sabres "top" pairing of Foligno - Girgensons - Kaleta line up against he likes of Parise/Pominville/Vanek/Koivu/Granlund/Niederreiter.... I think the Sabres lose this game but I'd like to "see" a strong performance from our D. Niklas Backstrom Darcy Kuemper Devan Dubnyk Charlie Coyle Mike Reilly Christian Folin Marco Scandella Mikko Koivu Jordan Schroeder Zach Parise Jason Zucker Ryan Carter Zac Dalpe Ryan Suter Nino Niederreiter Matt Dumba Jonas Brodin Thomas Vanek Tyson Strachan Jason Pominville Nate Prosser Jared Spurgeon Tyler Graovac Brett Bulmer Erik Haula Mikael Granlund
  24. Unfortunately I don't think there will be a stream tonight, similar to the first preseason game against minnesota.
