    Id like to see DB switch rhinehardte and DLO between the 1st and 30th lines. I also strongly dislike the 3rd line, move Moulson with eichel and replace him with larsson

    My thoughts on the game: mike Weber the refs for not calling blatant penalties whoever made the schedule to give us Tampa 4 times the lightning I like the over the glass call. It's to prevent hemmed in defences from getting a whistle by circumventing icing the puck.

    I remember reading that Ottawa's condition of the Lehner trade was that Legwand had to be a part of it as part of a contract dump. That was all Ottawa and not GMTM.

    There's zero reason to start Johnson as long as Linus continues to not let in any softies. Johnson won't be here after this year. With any luck Ullmark can carry the load until Lehner is ready to come back and then go finish the season starting in Rochester while working on his game. Tonight, I think Stamkos is gonna laser one past him, welcoming him to the big show.

    Now that I've figured out how the spoilers work I can address this point. This episode was far from a complete waste of time. Yes, the pacing was a complete 180 from what we've seen so far this season and episodes like this help these shows stay within budget. In less practical terms production-wise, I think the show is starting to tip it's hand in what's coming up. Eastman talks about the the true evil man. He talks about all life being precious.     Didn't Morgan tell rick his mentor or friend or whatever "didn't make it" a few episodes back? It was more than predictable Eastman wouldn't make it as it was already laid out earlier in the season. I disagree on the bold text above. This episode was about redirection, a metaphor so heavy they were figuratively beating you over the head with a bow-staff. <spoiler> This is me testing how to use a spoiler tag <spoiler>

    It wasn't as empty as I thought it would be considering the Mets game but it wasn't filled up either and there were a lot of Sabres fans there, we got several "Let's Go BUFF-A-LO" chants going. I read that the Islanders have the lowest attendance this year so far and that's no surprise...that's what you get when you move your franchise 30 miles west into Brooklyn, people can't drive to the game anymore and they jacked the ticket prices up as well. It'll take time for them to establish a new fan base to fill the seats throughout the season.

    I'd say having Bogo, Kane and Lehner to an extent evened that out. My thoughts from being at the game: It was one of the more boring games I've watched recently but I'm really happy they pulled out a win. After two periods the Sabres only had 12 shots and the Sabres fans sitting around me all agreed it was slightly reminiscent of last year...but they turned it up in the 3rd and came out on top so I'll drink to that. The refs not calling a SINGLE penalty was also rubbish. I watched Gionta take a stick to the face and the trip on O'Reilly by egregious. My theory was the refs wanted to catch the end of the Mets game and wanted to move the game along. Did anyone else think DB should have challenged the Islanders goal? Ullmark was knocked down by an Islander and the puck went in the net a few second later. I wonder how far back an interference call can effect the play.

    The off center jumbo tRon is not as distracting as I thought it would be... 12 shots after two periods is pathetic. I hope they find their legs for the final frame.

    What a snooze fest tonight. Ullmark looked interfered with on that goal...was expecting DB to throw the flag on that. Boring uninspired hockey today, which is disappointing because I don't see them often

    I'll also be in attendance tonight for my second game of the year. I was at the 2nd game of the season (first lightning loss) and I'm hoping to see a little more spark for the game. I'm worried about my seats because my idiot friend bought limited viewing seats in section 104...well see how that goes. I'll also probably miss the beginning of the game as I have a beer league gameat the chelsea piers at 530. It'll be a race on my bicycle to get down to Barclay for the game. Anyone know if Ullmark is starting?

    I'll tell you who it won't be, Gionta, unless missing the net can somehow turn into a hatty. Eichel ROR or, as a few have mentioned D-London and I mean that with all seriousness. Anyoke know who scored the sabres last hat trick? I can't recall.

    Perhaps it's an elaborate conspiracy theory set up by RJ himself to ease the eventual passing of the torch to DD. RJ has a great call lined up and he's secretly whispered it to DD already and is intentionally "tanking" his own call of Eichel, the generational player that RJ knows is not of his generation. He knows his time is running out and how it won't be easy for DD to fill his shoes. This mis-call by RJ is a selflessly clever way to ease the burden for DD. At least that's how I see it cause yeichel is just turds.

    Looks like there was a reason nobody picked him up in the off-season. Glad Murray didn't sign him to any considerable length even though two seasons might be too much for my liking. It's still early though so maybe he can turn up the offense.

    The past two seasons have conditioned me to figure the game over with if the Sabres went down by 2. I have to re-assimilate into the mindset that the Sabres have some fight and have the ability to come back. On a completely different note, F Crosby.
