Any talk of Stamkos' contract next season is useless until his post-season is over. His performance in the next 3 months will have a significant impact on how much he brings home in FA.

Lehner is dealing with soreness from the high ankle sprain he’s been battling all season. Dan Bylsma said, “He’s dealing with the high ankle sprain he’s had, he tweaked it once last week and again in the game and for the next two or three days, we’ll just rest and rehab on that ankle and Nathan will be with us for the next two games.”

I still can't get over how bad the new NHL website is. I'm trying to look at Ottowa's remaining schedule and I can't, for the life of me, figure out how to view any games that go into april for them (and this was after clicking all over the Senators page to just find a damn schedule)... But I digress... Any post-season optimism for the Sens will be crushed with a loss in their next two games (BUF, MON). The next 4 of 5 after that are vs. the Captials, Isles, Ducks and Wild. the Sens, Go Sabres. Let's drag them down into post season misery with us! BATTLE CRY!

With all the goalies in our system (Markarov, Liuewuen, Kasdorph, Ullmark) I can't see Johnson sticking around. I feel that one of those guys will back up Lehner and by one of those guys I mean Ullmark. I feel like Markarov and Liuewen have 0 future with the Sabres unless they're content staying in Rochester.

McDavid to Edmonton was the NHL's worst nightmare and is proof there is no rigging of the lottery.

I like Eichel but I wish we could have gotten McDavid.

I said sometimes. I also enjoy adulthood. Yesterday I made a very simple pasta with san marzano tomatoes, cured pork jowl and real parmigiano-reggiano cheese. Definitely not something I could ever afford to cook & eat in college. I bought a $100 ticket to go see Radiohead today and wasn't phased by the price. Adulthood has it's benefits. That being said, don't ever graduate until you need to.

I spend my spring break sitting at a desk in an office wasting time on hockey message boards hoping the time it takes until I can leave aforementioned desk expires before my head explodes. Sometimes I miss college.

Now that I'm in full on wishboner mode, it'll be a 9-0 route, with Gionta, Foligno & Rasmus each reaching the 10 goal mark and Cal O'Reilly assisting on all 9 goals because why the hell not?

To compound on that, I'd also like to see Reinhart & Kane pot one each to hit 20 in a 5-0 rout of the Habs, at home.

I wanna see Eichel get a hat trick tonight., and then get 5 more in the 11 remaining games afterwards. 30 is the MAGIC number.
