    Each team gets a "bye-week" type break in their schedule for roughly 10 days. I believe last night was the Ducks first game in over a week. The Sabres just happens to come on the holiday break, further evidence that the NHL is trying to bone them over. How dare they give them the holidays to spend with their families.

    That was much more enjoyable than the NJ game. Glad 85 put up the shutout. Hats off to him, he's played so much better than I expected.

    I can't believe he's not fired yet. If I owned the Ducks I would have fired the GM a month ago for not firing the head coach. How to you go from the conference finals to last in the conference?

    Looked like it was going well wide but Gibson still snared it. That'll do, Weber.

    I'm liking the play along the boards in the offensive zone, we've dug out more than a few pucks when the Ducks could have easily cleared the zone. The broadcast team was also talking about how both of these teams were struggling to get going for some reason earlier...I think that's just a symptom of two bad hockey teams playing each other. The way he's playing I see Zemgus getting at least a point tonight.

    What is this thread going to look like in the 2018-2019 season? I think his woes are a combination of his age catching up with him coupled with the 5x5 jackpot he hit when he re-signed here. Why stand in front of the net every night and get the beaten out of you now that he's made all that money? He's playing for pride now and I'm sure this slump will end and he'll start lighting the lamp again. The question is how many more of these 20+ game slumps are we going to see out of Matty Mo?
