How has this not been announced yet? It's been nearly 2 hours past the deadline??? Imagine being traded but then finding out it didn't go through in time. That'd be an awkward morning the next time you came into work.

I'll be shocked if Cozens can hit the next next time he plays us, which looks like it'll be March 25th.

He scored that goal in the 4 Nations and then scored another his first game back. His value has never been higher.

I'd be lying if I said I knew anything about the players coming back but I am glad I won't have to watch Cozens anymore.

I just got back from a few days in south Florida and the weather was absolutely perfect. Being able to go outside and not be freezing is such a better way to live. The traffic down there, not so great.

If I'm Jason Zucker, there's no way I'd actually want to stay in Buffalo and I'd be shocked if he's on the team next year. Not trading him would be a whiff by Adams.

I'd rather trade Zuckerberg with an oral agreement to sign over the off-season. the ways he's been playing hell get a decent return.

7-3 in the last 10 and we're still dead last in the conference. Woof.

The way team USA was built, Tuch would have been a way better fit than Thompson. Tage would have been the softest player on that team by a mile. It sounds like all the teams were dealing with illness, not just the teams, I know so many people who've been sick in the past 2 weeks. Something is ripping through us. Ultimately, I think it's a selfish move by Matthew, he probably told the coach he was good to go but that obviously wasn't the case. Whatever, I was rooting for Canada last night, although it would have been cool to see a Sabre out there.

That was fun that we got to watch Matthew tchachuk stapled to the bench, unable to play, instead of a healthy Tage.

One of the only things I respect about how the NFL operates is that the ball is kicked-off at the time listed. The NHL always feels like a crapshoot of when the game might start, depending on pre-game ceremonies, anthems or what have you.

When Malenstyn scores they could play "Loser" by Beck because his name is Beck and he plays on a team full of losers. It works on many levels.

When's the last time they won 5 in a row? During that 10 game run in November during the eichel years?

I turned down free club level seats for tonights game. I've reached that point. I'll have the game on in the background at home but it won't be the focus of my attention.

I'm never rooting for losses but I'd be lying if there's a part of me that's intrigued by how many losses in a row this team can rack up before Adams is fired.

A win tonight brings us within 2 points of the 15th place team in the conference (while having played 2 more games). Maybe a W tonight lays a solid foundation for a 20 game win streak.

A win tonight puts us 2 points behind second last place in the conference (with 2 games on hand of the 15th place Islanders).

It would be hilarious to see someone screw that up.

I'm pretty sure the Sabres are always shorthanded in one way or another.
