  1. HAHA! that's awesome.
  2. Everyone, and I mean everyone, will tell you that the rookie all-star vote should never have been. He played great for the start of the season, then disappeared. When he went back to Rochester, it didn't get any better.
  3. and a team with Ryan and Ennis could be even better
  4. I read it too fast the first time through. Took me a second but I just about died.
  5. I just almost spit my coffee everywhere haha. thanks for that :clapping:
  6. I know that would put me over the edge. :censored:
  7.  Why can I picture this conversation happening exactly as written?
  8. here we go again. I'm ducking out of here for the weekend before this explodes into a 'Ruff needs weak minded people' argument all over again. <_<
  9. I do like the thought of that lineup. I would be all for getting a FA vet #4 center over Cody. I like Cody, but I think him and Kaleta would benefit more from having someone nastier in the middle.
  10. This is definitely something I didn't mention in my post. Beyond exceeding expectations, I think him becoming a hometown hero has instilled a fire in him on the ice that many of the other players here just don't have. I love Kaleta for all those reasons (the heart, the shot blocking, sticking up for teammates, etc).
  11. I can't see Broduer playing anywhere but NJ... Then again, I didn't see Bret Favre playing anywhere but Green Bay, the same way I didn't see Bruce Smith playing anywhere but for the Bills, etc. etc.
  12. Kaleta is doing what he was supposed to do, and then some I think. He was brought in to just be an agitator, but he's developed into a great shot-blocking pk'er. He is hurt a lot because of that, and yes, he gets a lot of penalties, but i think as of late he has been unfairly targeted by the refs, and has taken quite a few blows that should've been penalties that weren't called because of a bad reputation. Like Ruff said, he's a marked man whether he did something or not. In regards to Brennan, I do believe he is definitely packagable to a team that needs D depth. I agree that Mcnasty has passed him on the depth chart.
  13. that sounds Fantastic! After work (nope, not leaving early today), I'm going to pick up a desk for my girlfriend, then put the tandem kayak on top of her Tahoe, and taking it out onto the Susquehanna for the evening. After that, she promised to make me a surprise dinner. We finally have an evening to ourselves as her parents are out of town. F'N Fantastic.
  14. A complaint to go off of Chris' above: People and coworkers that say they are moving to Canada because of this   Oy vay.
  15.  my thoughts and prayers :(
  16. 1) We had no internet or phones at work on Tuesday. I got absolutely nothing accomplished, and basically wasted the day with TheChive on my phone, and hanging and words with friends. I'm still playing catch up today. 2) I am really craving a super mighty and/or their bbq pork burrito right now 3) I had a customer from the west coast call my personal cell phone last night at 9:30 PM!! I know I shouldn't have answered it, but since it is such a large project for my business money wise, I felt obligated. Worst mistake of my week. He ranted, he raved, and he still misses the point that I cannot give him a qualified product until his team answers my questions. Weave: best of luck with that. I had mono freshman year of college just after I had the flu. Worst 3 months of my life. My girlfriend had mono earlier this year, and she felt the effects for a while.
  17. I'm not beating a drum, but I wouldn't say no. I do think he fills a need. I like the line of thinking.
  18. My grandfather went thru the same ordeal last spring. Best of luck with that!
  19. I don't wanna change my name :(
  20. :o :w00t: :w00t: and I agree with the poster formerly known as lastpommerfan that a +1 feature of sorts needs to be brought back.
  21. Don't worry, I heard he's not nearly as good at center as Gerbe is ;)
  22. well that's just boring :P
  23. I was just thinking the same thing lol
  24. I'm not saying the guy needs a letter, especially since I like Pominville as the captain. I don't think Roy is a locker room cancer either. I just think that with Ennis, Hodgson, and now Girgs and Grigs (although one or both may be a few years down the line yet), Roy is now expendable to get the third line shutdown center that we need. Do I think that Roy for Ott straight up is a steal, or even a good deal? nah, I think we should get more for Roy. But I do think this team needs an Ott more than a Roy now.
