Great to hear!!

was at the game. Boy was that awesome. 2 games now that I've taken the gf to, and both times have been wins...I'm sensing a trend. We may test this theory against the dolphins in the cold...

Mike Milbury strikes me as the kind of person who hates puppies and kittens and little children asking for candy, and everything that is good in this world. mostly, I hate Mike Milbury -
Lindy?

I took it as he was going to start Lala-ing in the restaurant... ;)

I thought they couldn't practice with the team. Don't know where I got that from.

that's all great news! enjoy the drink!!

him not being suspended is bullsh!t. Both of those hits are ridiculous, and had he been wearing almost any other uniform, his ass would've been plastered all over NBCSN with Milbury crying about how dirty he is.

 :( I really have faith that Ted will get the most of some of these underachieving players for the rest of the season.

best of luck to you and yours. my complaint: people that complain about working where I work. you have a job. be grateful for that. I lost my job 3 days after Christmas last year, and had financial issues for the next 3 months trying to find a job. quityerbitchin! I may not like some of the things I have to do or some of the people I work with, but I'm at least grateful to have a job again and am grateful for having the ability to provide for me and mine. /rant also. people that don't shower before coming to work...at all...seemingly ever... IT guy needed to change something on the computer in our lab...I couldn't stand within 10 feet of him

I think this season is about to pick up. Aside from the first season, it's taken a few episodes each season to really gain momentum. I still love the show.

alright. I finally watched that. I got goosebumps. I really liked that. EDIT: the photo did not show up the way it was supposed to

this is huge with skiing. I've been a skier much more so than a skater, and it was something that was taught to me in my early days when I used to complain that my feet hurt (I've been skiing since I was 4). I have only ever used Nordica boots because of their comfort for me. ubkev is absolutely right tho, stay out of Lange unless you're racing (which it doesn't sound like you are).

last shave for a month? I haven't shaved since hockey season started. I told my girlfriend I may leave my beard until the Sabres hit 10 wins, but I may just change that to until the Sabres and Bills have ten wins combined  After a hectic day yesterday, I'm just doing the bare minimum here at work. Leaving early to head out to Buffalo and visit the grandparents. If ticket prices drop a little bit more...I may take my girlfriend to her first Sabres game.

at least our PK is decent ;)

paid $7 to be able to watch my sister's soccer game (Daemen College at USCAA Nationals Tournament). Feed went down in the 18th minute (about 9 minutes ago). I don't actually care about the price...I just want to watch the :censored: game! :( EDIT: got the feed back, but I missed my sister getting a yellow card! so proud of her haha

It's a mix of accounting and senior management. It is absolutely ridiculous. On top of that, we had an audit today as well, and I ended up having to sit in with the auditors to explain the different testing we are capable of and talk about quality procedures, etc. My mind is numb at the moment. In regards to girlfriends, my ex and I broke up in February, and then a month and a half later I met this girl out of nowhere (not really nowhere, as our mom's were coworkers and set us up), around the same time that I got my current job. It was perfect timing for the both of us, and things just took off. I'm probably in the best place I've ever been, but that's for another thread.

End of month at work...It's a mad scramble to steal as much billable work from the following month to pad stats for the current month, leaving the next month light meaning we repeat the vicious cycle  Also - Night shifts. My girlfriend is an RN with her BSN and she works 7p - 7a a few times a week, and a lot of weekends. It makes seeing each other difficult and our sleep schedules are WAY out of whack. I cannot wait until she gets the day shift back (only a couple more months  )

I agree completely. I think a lot of this stems from Kaleta though, and his past transgressions. I think the league is keeping as close an eye on us as possible bc of him and our preseason debacles. That Dubinsky hit was terrible, and the fact that he didn't even get a call is ridiculous. Do I think it's a conspiracy against the Sabres though? Nah.

Loui didn't see the hit coming because he was too busy watching his pass. Onus on him to be more aware at center ice. But the hit was high. PoC is hard to determine, and when in doubt, blame the hitter in the name of safety. Can't say I disagree. You're both right, but 26 more so. yes, Scott was in front of the play, but he was on the far side, and then skated directly down the red line while Loui continued to skate North South. It ended up blindsiding him, but still, because he watched his pass. I'm torn on this hit really. it didn't seem that late, but I can see why they called it late. It wasn't clear what the point of contact was, but given the size differential and him being hurt, you kind of need to call it a head shot to prove that you are looking out for player safety. Does Scott have a record? no, but he is large guy that doesn't really contribute a lot to a team. I like the guy, but he's eating up minutes and a roster spot of a more talented kid possibly.
