  1. :w00t:
  2. Injury prone, and getting taken out at the knees by a defenseman are two different things. I think everyone who gets hit in the side of their knee will be "injury prone". It was a learning experience, and he rarely takes chances anymore. But let's look at some other Franchise QBs that have been injury prone Aikman had how many concussions? he was "injury prone". He was still a franchise QB. Kelly got hurt numerous times...slightly injury prone...still a franchise qb is RGIII not a franchise qb? There's a number of other well known QBs that have been franchise qbs but were injured a lot because they put themselves on the line for their team. Their leadership and willingness to do so made them a franchise qb. Nobody questions EJs leadership, and Stevie and Fred have both said he has a lot to learn in the NFL, but they'd play with him anyday. He's our franchise qb, and I think a year or two under his belt, and he'll be the best we've seen in a LONG time.
  3. I only eat one once in a blue moon these days as well. It's great to reminisce now and then lol
  4. I call BS lol
  5. he's better than all the other quarterbacks selected so far... and seriously, he missed almost a month of preseason, and a month of the regular season. I'll give him another full season before I go out and crucify the guy. FFS, stop declaring him a bust as fact when it's only your opinion
  6. RG/LG,OLB, MLB, WR (someone that is tall and better than Graham) - that's how I'd rank the Bills needs right now. The offensive line needs fixed, and we need at least one or two more line backers. You could even say we need more DBs but a team can never have enough quality DBs. and before someone tells me that we need DL, we don't - we could upgrade for a run stopping DT, but linebackers are much more important. This team is oh so close.
  7. nice! good luck!!
  8. This team is slightly better than 4-9 suggest. You have a healthy defense and fully healthy offense all year, and some of those close loses are wins. Even if it's Thad Lewis playing against KC, that's a win (you can't deny that).
  9. HAHA I try to be. I really hate the Bruins but given what you've defined as the difference between malice and recklessness, I see where you are coming from and concede that it is a reasonable stance. As I said before, I really hope they drop the hammer on Thornton.
  10. fair and valid points. received.
  11. exactly. I like 5 for Neal. He knew what he did, and I liked what he did. I hate Marchand and Lucic and just about most the Bruins team, and have no sympathy for them. I really hope they drop the hammer on Thornton because that was 5 - 10x worse than what Scott did. Scott wasn't purposely head hunting. He hit Eriksson high, yes, but he wasn't aiming there with malicious intent. What Thornton did (and Neal for that matter) should be considered malicious intent.
  12. any news on possible suspensions and/or fines yet today?
  13. I'd have to agree with this. They've already sent a clear message to their fans. Nothing else they can really do right now.
  14. but spicier. with more flavor.
  15. lol There's also raffles and such, and not a lot of people are going (due to disdain with management, or the weather) so my chances just increased to win some prizes (no clue what they are yet, but I love free stuff!)
  16. it's delicious, it's spicy, it goes with just about everything.
  17. went home for lunch. Girlfriend made quesadillas: chicken, beans, cheese, peppers, onion, tomato all topped with some Sriracha or however it's spelled. Ate so much, I just wanted to lie down for a nap rather than come back to work
  18. no migraine today. F'N Fantastic. Had a killer one yesterday morning. also, work party tonight. three free drink tickets over the course of the evening.
  19. the author of the graphic novel/comics is consulting the writers of the show and re-writing the show in a way that he wishes he would've done with the comics. He had an interview at the end of season 2 I believe it was and explained it. Herschel I believe was supposed to have died on the farm and some other stuff was supposed to have happened that he didn't like and fans of the comics didn't like so he changed it. I can't wait for the second half of this season. I was getting sick of the prison storyline. It seemed too cozy. I'm glad they are going to all be split up. It'll make the storyline that much more interesting.
  20. ESPN or someone did a little video snippet saying the same thing.
  21. that's what I mean though - she dragged and got rid of the bodies to cover up for the little girl. plus she's started to change a bit. either way. I hate this midseason finale wait until Feb stuff...but It makes sense for ratings etc given that it's almost playoff time for football and what not.
  22. or she admitted it to cover up for someone else (i.e. one of those two little girls).
  23. went black friday shopping (and finished my christmas shopping) and finished my end of the month jobs here at work. I'm winning today. only crappy thing is I have reports to sign so I'm not leaving work for a little longer.
  24. quite impressive giving the grotesque nature of that break. Hopefully his recovery isn't too long.
