Saw it. loved it. Was on vacation for 5 days starting last Friday. - Fantastic! Was supposed to go back to work yesterday, ended up taking a dog's paw to the face before I even got out of bed - not so Fantastic Corneal abrasion, blurry vision, 2 hours at an eye doctor - not so fantastic Got the rest of the day off to lounge with the girlfriend - Fantastic Had to finally come back to work today...but there's free lunch and not a lot going on. B-)

Had Fried Catfish for the first time ever this past week on vacation. Was pretty good with a glass of sweet tea.

The last game in the 06-07 series against the Islanders. It was my first playoff game ever (as a freshman in college...I know), my dad took me, so it was the first Sabres game I went to with my dad in a LONG time (my parents divorced when I was young, and my dad moved back to b-lo and my mom and my sister and I moved to the Ithaca area), and it was absolutely awesome. Sharing that moment with my dad was the high point in my Sabres fandom.

losing the finals wasn't the devastating low point. It was the realization afterwards that the team was not built or being rebuilt in the right direction, and watching the proverbially ship sink without being able to warn everyone of the iceberg ahead...

My lowest point was the series loss to Ottawa, as others have stated. To experience those two straight years of awesome hockey, and then watch the team systematically dismantled, and a GM try to pull the wool over the fans eyes re: the players (i.e. Connolly and Roy 2 top 20 centers?) That was terrible

I feel ya! I was bummed that the season ended. I just grasped this concept. I work my 40 - 45 now and that's it. Also...our company is making shitastic decisions that are forcing/encouraging people to jump ship. Things including anemic raises, then turning around and burning a ###### ton of money to replace carpets (that aren't that old) and add flower beds, etc. People are sick of it and it's really sad.

just wasted my time reading the ESPNBoston article, and it basically says that the Habs are the whiners that Boston is taking the high road and yadda yadda, and I wanted to jump out of a second floor window rather than continue to bash my head on my desk.

? where do you get this from? Woods sprained an ankle last year, and that was it no? a one time instance does not make a recurring issue? Goodwin broke his wrist on a fluke, one time deal...again doesn't make him injury prone (although I do agree that he isn't built to take a lickin' as you put it). Just think you're over-thinking those two's injury history. but that's the eternal optimist in me I guess...

I think the plan is for Williams and Corey Graham, with Searcy as an in the box hybrid type of safety/linebacker. I think that's evident with bringing in other CBs too. not too shabby with the undrafted signings. Let's see who sticks.
