strain gages. Soldering. Soldering lead wires onto strain gages. not my forte, but nobody else in my dept. can solder. yay... :(

I'm going to root for Germany in this one! Last night's game was quite the thriller.
-
I think that would be a great final to watch!
-
I really think the kid can be great, but the last thing we need is another "concept of Kassian" kind of ordeal. I do believe however that he and Girgenson's should be off limits for the time being. Same of Risto for right now.

I'm pulling for the Dutch here.

congrats man! See you around, and if you need anything, you've got my number. Hit me up!

it really is worth it. Hopefully Reinhart and whomever we get next year will be the equivalent for us down the road.

TRADE: Sabres acquire Josh Gorges from Montreal
dEnnis the Menace replied to Hoss's topic in The Aud Club
because we're used to the sports gods taking a dump on us? ;) -
1) thank you for the clarification. 2) I think Buddy was more or less in charge and Whaley was just in the backseat for much of that, but I wasn't there so I could very well be very wrong. The vibe I got from Nix during his tenure was that he was in charge, and the input of his staff was just that, just input. and based on the difference in aggressiveness between Whaley and Nix, I think it's quite obvious Whaley didn't have much say in the personnel moves (maybe I'm seeing what my optimistic eyes want to) 3) I agree the franchise tag last year was the botched point in negotiations, however, Byrd's camp wouldn't concede on anything after that. This Preston Brown kid looks like he'll be capable of being a 3 down backer. Searcy is our Nickel/Dime backer-hybrid for now, and it's a perfect role for him. I don't think the D is going to be flown over nearly as much as you think, and I'd even be willing to wager on that. ^ This.

1) wasn't the D rated #10 overall last year? or am I thinking combined D and you guys discussing the parts? 2) Whaley has been around since 2010, but only calling the shots since last year. I have more faith in him and his aggressive nature than the previous few GMs 3) in all honesty, Byrd wasn't signing. Let's not kid ourselves there. No matter how aggressive they were, they would've had to pay him an astronomical amount for a player that has had chronic foot and leg issues. He is a great safety, one of the best, but I don't think he is much longer for the league if he keeps have the foot issue, especially in both feet.

exactly. Even last year, the guys played as hard as they could, but given the fact that most of them aren't exactly NHL lineup worthy, it just wasn't good enough.
-
And frankly I have no issue with her doing so.

This is what I was trying to get at, but couldn't quite get out of my head onto the computer screen.

I do see the flip side of the coin, but that being said, if Watkins pans out to be the WR/All around utility he's projected to be, it'll be worth it IMHO.
-
I really don't see them improving that much. I think they're line is going to be 79±5 points. In all honesty. Like the Sabres, they got better, but did they really get that much better?
-
I honestly liked it, and like you don't understand the negativity around it. He was the top rated WR in the draft.
-
about 10 points too high in my opinion.
-
welcome aboard!
-
HAHAHA! this is great

Like someone else said, he'd walk up...point at the two of them, and just walk off.
-
American teams? NHL teams? I mean, if we're talking AHL or lower, fine...but...man other teams must really be looking to tank!

In terms of seats, mid way up in the 100s if you have the money, or if you'd rather save, center ice in the low - mid 300s aren't bad. Chz is absolutely right though - look into stub hub
