Please keep in mind that EJ wasn't even supposed to be the starter last year. He was supposed to sit behind a veteran (albeit one made of glass). I think he'll round out into more of an ELI type of passer, but it's gonna take some time. The Defense of this team is going to keep us from the top QBs of next years draft anyways. They haven't installed much offense into the preseason games, and have been completely predictable because of it. I'm gonig to wait until after the first 2 regular season games before I blow my lid over the offenses play. I will say this though: the O-line better get their ###### together because the amount of penalties they took is just ludicrous, and it wiped out at least 4 big plays.

Gym this morning was F'N Fantastic. Come to work to find out lunch is being bought today out of the blue...Fantastic again. Fiance's sister turns 21 at midnight. Lots of shenanigans to be had tonight, and with all the drinking in Cortland, it means we get to go to Zonies!! :thumbsup: I'm DD'ing tonight so those two ladies can have a blast (in turn, my fiance is going to DD the night my sister turns 21 in September). It's still gonna be great though

Any time after 630 is fine by me. The Fiance works 6p through the night so once she leaves, I'm good to go.

I just got nominated twice...I'm going to dump the ice over my head, but I am going to donate as well. Some friends and family have reached out to me because they have loved ones with ALS, and if it is raising awareness and money, I will change my tune and participate.

I know this feeling all too well My complaint: nearly 15 vials of blood later and we may finally have a diagnosis. So everything started out with blood in the urine, joint pain, and fatigue. After some tests and some wrong diagnoses (not the fault of the Dr, just symptoms were telling one thing, everything else something else), I was sent to both a urologist and a nephrologist. After all the blood work, and cups to pee in, and a bout with bronchitis (yay prednisone and amoxicillin), they finally think I have had asymptomatic strep (no symptoms of strep..just the bacteria in my system) several times now. yay. they just drew 3 more vials of blood to do a third or fourth (I can't remember which) ASO Titers and an antiDNase B to measure my antibodies for strep (which has gone up in previous versions). then they believe they will have a diagnosis

I understand what you're getting at...but I at least expect a 2nd or 3rd line player to score more goals than John Scott in a season. As low as my expectations are, he still fell way short.

A couple quick thoughts: 1) I wish I knew more about Brandon. He's a nice guy like others said but there's nothing else on him 2) Manuel didn't play bad during the Steeler's game. I'm not a full out EJ fan, but I'm not nearly the detractor some of you tend to be. The steeler's regularly had tight coverage on the WRs. Manuel hit Chandler and JAckson regulary. How does Brady beat us every year? Dink and dunk passing that ends up opening up big plays later on. I say, if he's moving the ball (which they did during the first half to the tune of 212 yards), then there isn't an issue. 3) the issue I see is the fact that we haven't scored a touchdown with our first team offense yet. 4) I think our defense will be better this year than last year. There, I said it.

micro managing. it's really going to push me over the edge by this time next week. I have a customer (one I have a great report with) coming in to look at our process because of some unusual results. My boss and his bosses are freaking out (I'm not) and they are now micro-managing everything. My boss is the one who let the suspect results out the door when I wasn't here to begin with! JUST LET ME FIX IT! ugh! I'm glad we can agree on that now :pirate: I do agree that the ice-bucket challenge is annoying and serves little purpose in my mind. If someone can explain what it accomplishes, I'd love to understand. Like D4rk said, I donate to certain charities every year, and I don't need to be guilted into it

Anyone see what Rush Limbaugh had to say about Robin Williams' death? Or Lewis Black's retort? complete ignorance in my opinion, and that's Rush but it is not excusable though. Most, I'm not sure. My mom overcame them because of a by-chance meeting with someone. sometimes, people only overcome them because something off-chance (luck) happens (i.e. a nice gesture at a store, a phone call from a relative they don't hear from often, etc.). One of my best friend's dads could not overcome them. I've seen it go both ways. I haven't seen any science as to who or how or why certain people can overcome them.
