difference being: Grigo was not a top 5 pick, and consensus was he had maturing to do and work to put in . Reinhart was deemed to be one of the more NHL ready prospects in his draft if not the most ready (aside from Bennet and Ekblad). If Roc was a choice for this year, instead of playing on a ###### Buffalo team, I'd totally be pulling for that though. Reinhart is definitely above the W though at this point.

Frankly...I'd have to go back to Flutie to remember :( I agree though, that our standards have fallen, but if he's our best shot since Bledsoe or even before that, then I'll play that hand any day.

I want the players to try their best and make the games fun to watch again (let's be honest, there weren't many fun games last year). I don't think this team has the talent levels to be a constant winner this year, but effort would at least make it more interesting. -
Spiller is still likely to get a ton of receptions and touches overall though. Especially with a weak opp like the Bears (they were dead last against the run last year, and didn't really improve). There are quite a few teams the Bills should run all over this season. I'm not sure JAX can keep it up

I agree with this It was but it wasn't. Everybody knew Grigorenko needed the AHL to adjust and mature, not the Q, but since he couldn't go there, it made it all the more difficult.

Having a discussion is precisely what we're trying to do. You keep moving the line however on what we are exactly talking about, and telling us what is and is not relevant based on your current mood. This is why I stepped out of the conversation this morning. and then Eleven drew me back in. We are just trying to point out that the kid has barely had a career yet, and a few of you insist it's already over. Most QBs come into their own after 2 full years in the NFL. We're not saying EJ is Kelly or Brady, etc. We're just asking to give the kid a little more time. Everyone knew and admitted coming out of college he was a project, and wasn't supposed to start his first year. He was thrust into it. The fact that he already has better stats than 3 or 4 of our last 5 QBs is enough for me to give him at least this season. Whether anyone wants to admit it or not, we are stuck in another year of mediocrity with the Bills. They're just not bad enough (see: JAX, HOU, OAK, etc) to get a top 5 pick this year. Even if Manuel plays a full season this year at last years pace, it's still Fitz numbers equivalent or better. I'll take that.

. uh chief...MANY sources say Pegula is in on the bidding for the Bills. Not just one skype-in report with no name guys that you never hear of. That's my issue. Maybe if he was a reputable source that I'd heard stuff from in the past, or if he had inside connections that I believed, sure. Also, this is the first I'd heard of Ike Hilliard say he felt EJ didn't have the talent.

Most of my family (immediate and extended) has birthdays between August 29th and October 22. There's at least 15 people in my family with birthdays between those dates, my mom sister and self included, and now my fiance. We all joke that my family had cold winters in years prior to our births.

I figured you would bring this up. And as someone who liked Carr, I can't argue. I really wish we would've taken him, even if it was to sit behind EJ for a year. PS - I wasn't high on Kuandijo, and he hasn't performed like a 2nd rounder should to this point, so Carr in the 2nd round wouldn't have been a bad thing. This from someone who wants to be patient with EJ
