If I'm not mistaken he was sacked 2 or 3 times last year, pressured a ton, and hit even more. I was at that game, and a lot of throws seemed hurried, and they turned to quick crossing patterns to Edelmen and Amendola after a while because that was all they could get (Gronk was out then too tho, a factor I didn't consider)

Oh man...I had a tingle...

  :clapping:

I don't think Brady's O-line can keep him upright against our D line.
-
I think we beat the Pats with our defense mostly. Bills win 21-16

I'm pumped

Nah. They both have earned their ranking with their games played so far, especially Miss St. with the wins over LSU and Texas A&M back to back, LSU on the road (one of the hardest places to play in College Football). Ole Miss's D is just a wrecking ball. We'll see if they can maintain it this week. Miss St has the harder test, although Texas A&M is hosting Ole Miss. Either way, they'll be good games for sure.

Ole Miss and Miss State games were absolutely amazing feats.

I completely agree with this I watched the replay like 6 times on that play in order to figure out where that lineman came from. He was supposed to run a stunt I think, got held up and as he came back to the middle realized Orton was rearing back to throw that. He was able to stay there then and wait that one out. I'm pretty sure Orton never knew he was there, and lucky for him like you said, he threw a bullet that the lineman just couldn't catch

I'll eat my crow. Based on what I saw in both NE losses I didn't believe the Patsies could keep Brady upright. I was wrong. Cincy did NE a handful of favors tho with late hits and putting the pressure in the wrong places on the line. I turned the game off at half though and called it quits. In regards to the Bills game: Orton looked rusty to start off but let's remember that he came off his couch, and hadn't seen game action since last December. I think the move to play him was definitely a good one after watching that game. I don't think anyone can tell me with confidence that EJ would've made those throws. We all saw today what this team is capable of with just a decent QB. The Ralph will be rocking next week. Hopefully we can get division win #2. And did anyone watch the Jets get absolutely destroyed?! I can't wait to watch the Chargers/Broncos games this year.

I highly doubt NE wins against the Bengals. I will be thoroughly surprised.

Game discussion thread Pre Season GDT: Washington at Buffalo, 7 PM

that's kind of sort of borderlining inspiring... stop that! I want inspired hockey but the 1st overall pick. You start saying things like that, it makes me believe that I should want those things too  -
same here. I have rage issues over my car however. When it was only 2 months fresh off the lot, someone backed into me in a Wegman's parking lot, and drove off. They cracked my bumber, and chipped paint. Since then, if someone even breathes towards my car wrong, I'm all over them.

I'm down.

dear lord. gross negligence in Dallas. All they needed to do was ask where he'd been (hell, it would've been easier if he had just said, "Hey I was in Liberia with some Ebola infected people). Apparently they upped the count to 18 people he came into contact with, all being monitored at home now. His nephew was the one that phoned the CDC to get him proper quarantine per the Today show this morning. Also, this strain has evolved something like 50+ times now.

I half agree with this. At the same time, you can't be that bad at your job without paying the consequences.

interesting, but believable.

That's some BS right there. the officer just left the kid there too. He should be fired.
-
True...

but the fact that the pick goes to Cleveland...I want it to be more meaningless for them
-
Did they bother to ask if he had been traveling lately? How do they not suspect ebola if he they asked had he been traveling? That should be the first question asked at any ER/Drs office (in fact when I went to the doctor last month for a bout of bronchitis, the second question to me was "have you traveled outside the US recently").

I think the lack of the pick is why I'm so for making the playoffs however we can. I really like Baylor's QB right now after seeing him play a few games. I doubt he'd fall to the 2nd round though. and yeah, there are going to be a ton of teams QB hunting this offseason.

Good point here. Like someone else said: winning begets winning. Winning brings more players here,

A lot of good stuff in here. Especially the Stewart caution

This.
