I really hope they can as well. Denver was "a power house" when we beat them 2-1 back '10. That was a good game!

That's a pretty hard region to get out off there. It's going to be interesting.

Casey Bailey, Matt O'connor. Any other college free agents?

I'm wondering if Matt Garbowsky from RIT will garner any attention coming out. He's a Hobey Baker finalist, top 5 scorer, and leader in faceoff wins. Hope to see him do well. Tanner Kero is pretty good at the college level. Could see him getting signed. -
They actually told us they may have things to sell after they try selling a lot to family members. And I didn't know my credit would take a hit! that's good to know now. My credit is pretty good right now, scares me to take a hit.

Well. I just got the call from my realtor. They are going to pay for the whole thing. The fact that I didn't concede at all and the fact that they need to sell since they already have another house that they are moving into helped!! WOOHOO!

That's a lot of sharts man... My complaint: Radon. Had the house inspected. Stood by our offer, just waiting for the radon test to come back to get our financing. Come to find out that the radon reading was at 24 [units unknown], EPA allows 4 [units unkown]. Now we need a mitigation system in place. Seller got a quote, and it's $2,000. At first they wanted us to pay. Now they are saying how about 50-50. I don't want to pay a penny for it. I also don't want to lose this house over $1,000.... everything else is immaculate with this house. It's absolutely perfect, and it's got a lot of potential (partially finished basement...just begging me to finish it with a bar, garage with workshop in the back, shed, 0.5 acres, near a decent school here in CNY...).

I didn't see a thread dedicated to this yet, so I figured I'd start one. Anyone else plan on watching much of the 2015 NCAA Men's Hockey tourney? Being an RIT Alum, I am really pulling for them. Really hoping they can match the Cinderella magic of 2010. I went out to Roc for the AHC Tourney, and the team looked great there, but it's not nearly the same type of competition as the other leagues in NCAA.

Really? I guess we can count on a move like this once/year

I don't pretend for one minute to completely grasp your life or the hurdles you must jump with your kid, but I still know that it can't be easy, and that that woman sounds like a bitch. I'd raise freaking hell about her and what they did. best of luck to you

I am SO pumped for that movie to come out, along with Star Wars and Jurassic World/

I agree that the culture has definitely changed. A few observations from last night (pardon me if anyone else posted similar things, I just skipped to the last page) • Zadorav looked like he was just coasting for large portions of this game. • Risto has a calm presence and doesn't seem to ever get too flustered • Ennis is one of if not the hardest working forward on this team (Zemgus is out now so he doesn't count) • Weber was quietly our best defenseman last night until that delay of game penalty • I can't wait for guys like D'Amigo and Mez to be gone.

Thanks everyone. me and the lady have to sign our lives away today (disclosures, attorney agreement, realtor agreement, etc.). I'm excited for it. First installment of the down payment and closing costs goes in to escrow today.

There was a Genny sale at the Wegmans in Ithaca on your birthday. They had an entire endcap dedicated to it. They were thinking of you man.

To those (Tank) saying that Fred didn't add anything on the field: Fred won that Chicago game for this team, and kept them in many others. Fred played hurt, and more than one player, in a post game interview has said that seeing vets like Fred go all out like inspired them. Don't take away what Freddy has done and marginalize him. That man has bled Buffalo blue and red since the day he got to town. He would be missed immensely in that locker room and on the field. He is a calming presence for younger players, and deserves the chance to be a back for this team, especially over Brown. I love the shake ups this regime has brought about, but players like K. Williams and F. Jackson are players that deserve to see this thing through

Youtube is back up, and some streaming sites are back up. My lab techs won't go postal! They have the soothing tunes! WOOHOO!

I think Spikes is honestly a better LB at this point in their careers. I saw somewhere (Buffalo Rumblings maybe) stats showing a sharp decline in Harris' stats vs a consistent tracking with Spikes. It could be since Spikes played a little less than Harris, at which point my point is semi-invalid, but still.

potential to bring Spikes back then?

Did you watch the games last year? Henderson was one of if not the worst rated Right tackle in all of football last year. He had to have a TE or RB help chip on that side. We drafted 3 Olineman (1 in the 2nd round), and none of them could stay in the starting lineup (I know Henderson played all 16 games, but he wouldn't have started on many other O-lines). A 2nd round draft pick, especially one coming out of ALabama, the most pro-ready style school, should be able to step right into the starting line of any team. The notion that any other of our picks should have is unrealistic, I get that.
-
Don't get me wrong, I love Hughes and think we should definitely pay the man. I do agree that we need someone to fill in for Mario in the future, and I honestly think that person is going to be found in the draft. I don't have a ton of confidence in this regime drafting O-lineman. anywhere in the draft. period.
-
Agreed to a point. If we could actually maintain possession though, it would make Brady's job harder. So I think it's kind of a toss up. Even if you have a marginal pass rusher opposite Mario, with Dareus and K. Williams, and our linebacking corp, and the blitzing dbs...it's almost plug and play over there as long as they've got some talent.
