  1. Very nice!! Congrats!!
  2. Being at work at 3am. Before you call me crazy, hear me out. 1) it was so easy getting work done without people constantly pestering me and my technician. 2) there are no customer phone calls 3) the lab is quiet, and no one can complain about my technician's or my music 4) no one leaves an empty coffee pot when there's only two of you there 5) there's no emails coming in that I need to answer!
  3. I got the chills man. My condolences to you for your friend.
  4. Sorry to hear Bio! stay strong!! Your dad sounds tough!
  5. My sister met her and Mia Hamm the same day. I thought my sister was about to die from excitement. Two great women. My sister also met Wambach at the RIT homecoming game. She made an extra 10 seconds on her way out the door just to give my sister an autograph and a picture after my sister waited in line for so long for naught.
  6. YAY! Congrats Bio!!
  7. My sister played up to college level. She always hated the turf. She complained injuries were much more prevalent on the turf because of lack of ability to really grip in with cleats (turf cleats are smaller). she loved playing on the grass fields whenever possible.
  8. Damn! Just going through them all in my head and yeah... wow.
  9. It's OTAs, the entire offense is learning yet another new scheme, there's a lot of new pieces. The QBs and their targets need to build chemistry. I'd wait until training camp to make any sort of judgement on these guys. I never judge a team based on OTAs. Not to mention, Eric Wood and someone else on the offense said it has been very difficult trying to install the new offense with as disruptive a defense as we have (most of these guys played in Pettine's D so it's not that new to most of the starters). I'm not trying to be an apologist for them, but there are a myriad of reasons for the slow development in the spring.
  10. This
  11. Great post. I'm for keeping him in the hopes that he rebounds enough to improve his trade value.
  12. Mike Peca, Hasek, then Miller
  13. Woot!!! that is all
  14. ok now I have a complaint. Really nice day, yet becuase the school that hosts our softball league nor the village rec dept felt the need to go clear water from the fields, we can't play tonight :censored: Three weeks into the season, yet to play a game :wallbash:
  15. excellent info friend! Thank you for your contribution!! I have really enjoyed this thread so far.
  16. I'm ready to just enjoy the day. oh man, that's rough
  17. I get married one month from today B-) No complaints from me today.
  18. yeah you do. Most double plays are muscle memory with the guy next to you. Knowing where you need to throw it to him (does he like the ball high or low, does he like it in close or out far, etc.). There is a lot that goes into playing the field in baseball. Just saying.
  19. No one else acknowledged this post? I laughed at least!
  20. This is an outstanding post.
  21. I missed this before. I was really excited to watch the games, but I couldn't turn any on until the Germany-Ivory Coast game yesterday. After it hit 4-0, I had to change the channel. I'm gonig to watch the US-Australia game tonight.
  22. I surely hope not :P I read the ESPN article that was floating around Twitter. Apparently Mass State Troopers found his car abandoned on or near the 495, and the nav-system reported a collision (driver reported htting a deer). Another car reported that they were rear-ended and never saw the other car (either they didn't stop or he didn't). No further news yet.
