Oh I plan on it. I need a few new books as I will be traveling for work here soon, and the excessive number of flights here are going to require something other than just an iPod. (trip to Seattle, trip to Ft Lauderdale, and there's another one in there I'm forgetting).

I have a new complaint now: The two managers at a place of employment that argue excessivelly and can NEVER find middle ground, and must make a scene wherever and whenever. yeah. good times. I've got that going on right now, and I need help with something, but God forbid I interupt them...I just want to be done with this costing effort so I can release the quote, so I can go home! :censored: :wallbash:

There's a different thread for those ;)

Just got done with Inside SEAL Team Six. It was just alright. They left much of the book censored (black barred), which made for some annoyance. I am in the hunt for a new book or two to pick up. I used to read regulary in school, but that's kind of tapered off since I left school a little over a year ago.

I don't think it's a T3, but I could be wrong. I paid about $900 for the camera, and two lenses (don't remember/know what sizes they are). I just know one is for longer range/sports setting, and the other is for more close up, portrait kind of photos. I really had a blast switching them out at soccer games and taking rapid succession shots of my sister making saves in goal. Like I said, I've only just started experimenting with it, and I'm gettng used to all the settings and figuring out what a lot of them do. I plan on taking mine with me to Stratton next weekend for my 3 day trip. I might ski with a backpack so I can take out at different times on the mountain.

I would have to say, not a bad idea of a thread. During the winter I like to ski, and during the summer I like to play slow pitch softball (1 competitive league and one beer league). I go on two major ski trips a year (outside of skiing locally). This year is Killington and Stratton. Never been to either. usually I go to Tremblant once, and then another mountain (last year was Smuggler's Notch, and before that Whiteface), but this year my group of friends really wanted to switch it up. Fine by me! I actually just picked up photography my self too. I bought my mom a nice Canon (I don't remember the model) with different lenses and what not (a whole snazzy deal from Best Buy last year for xmas), and she has used it once. I've used it for photographing my sister's soccer games, and testing out the different lenses there, and also on around my town (specifically Dryden Lake (although there's not a whole lot worth photographing there)). I do not have a flickr acct, but I may set one up after a while. I never understood the whole "getting better at photography" concept, until I started taking more and more pictures, and then you realize there is so much more that you can do to make the picture better or to capture more of the natural-ness. Amazes me.

Going Buffalo Sabres-esque? EDIT: Or Darcy-ing?

My problem usually stems from (1) and (3). I'm usually a liquigels person. Never had one that was *that* bad. I've had a few pretty severe migraines, where I took the Extra Strength Excedrin, and then crawled into my bed under the covers so that I couldn't see any light whatsoever, but those are rare (I've left work before because of them). I've never tried to drink caffeiene after taking anything for my headaches, but that is definitely good advice...I'll definitely keep that in mind for the future (as I am an avid coffee, and tea drinker).

pillows are fine...I took a massage therapy class, and the instructor pointed that out a few years ago so I've been careful about my pillows and height and what not lol. in terms of location and type, it is definitely a tension headache, and I would actually love to see a chiropractor. I just took some Advil liquigels, and those seem to help most days, and I can't take lortabs...make me nauseas. Thanks for the pointers though man! and I'm glad to hear you're starting to find balance with the little one.

headaches...physically and metaphorically speaking. I have had a pounding headache for much of my day so far, and I have a customer who is compounding the issue without end. Said customer will not stop calling or requesting things, even after HIS manager said that we needed a freeze on all requests, not just design requests due to scheduling. This is just getting ridiculous. :death:

I kept thinking "you know, it can't be more than 5, 10 minutes max..." 20 minutes later and it's finally going to commercial, and I am now certain that is 20 minutes of my life I wasted and will never get back. Although, the scenes for next week look exciting.
-
I thought the same thing, and the people I was watching with actually said that out loud just before the ending. Then we all replayed it. Anyone else have an issue with the fact that AMC forced the Walking Dead fan group to sit through the first 20 mins of Comic Men or whatever it is called to see next week's previews? I was perturbed, especially since I got very little out of that 20 minutes...

Sounds like someone's got a case of the Monday's! ;) Had a Chicken Ceasar salad and an orange from Weggies for lunch. Wasn't feelin the pizza, and had no desire to stand in the sub/wrap line. Going out for Mexican with the Girlfriend tonight. She has a place in mind (no idea where she is taking me...).

I absolutely loved the season premiere. This (half of the) season looks a little more promising than last.

in the GDT CHZ mentioned that Leino-Roy-Pom to be kept together and Vanek will probably go with Ennis and Staff. Leaving Gerbe to go back with Kaleta and Goose. Adam was to sit, meaning the fourth line will be Boyes-Cody-Ellis

HAHA nice. Have fun sir! report back.

oooh sounds interesting. Where is the trip to?

Wow that is a lot of sadness :( I just hate seeing suicides. I hate seeing young people die in general, but suicide is the worst :(
-
congrats on the quitting. I wish a few people I know would quit. They've tried, but have not prevailed. It takes a lot of will power so kudos. My only complaint today is having to go to calling hours for a HS senior that commited suicide in my town. His sister and my sister have been friends since they could run on the soccer field together, so she's coming home from Daemen today for the calling hours as well. It's really just too sad. :(

:worthy:  Well played sir

I thought the M&M's commercial was the only really good one out of all of them.
-
Oh jeez we deep fried about 8 LBS of wings for the game, and they were gone before half time (we also had pizza, some chicken wing dip, some spinach artichoke dip, and some other unknown dip that is now in my fridge because it didn't get touched <_< )

I was rooting for the Giants 1) I hate the pats, and Tom Brady 2) as D4rk mentioned, Tom Coughlin started his coaching with RIT, so it's hard to not root for him. 3) oh yeah, I hate Bellicheck. entertaining game...not great, but entertaining. Didn't really enjoy the halftime show. LOVED the M&Ms commercial.
