EJ's college stats were pretty darn good - that's why you really never know.

That kinda sucks for the buyer if you originally locked into a low interest rate and the rates are climbing. Plus, who pays the closing costs on a new mortgage every 5 years ? Or does the bank work some magic and you just get a new payment ?

A 2 is a 10 at 10 minutes to 2 probably doesn't work for QBs. It's not that the other GMs don't properly identify the same guy - the QB selected has to fit in with the scheme favored by the OC. I believe I read that Daboll said he prefers a pocket passer.

Just a few more pieces of advice outside of the financial stuff ... Look for anything that might affect resale of the home, i.e. road noise, electrical transformers near the house, property drainage, etc Check out the neighbors carefully - nothing worse than neighbors from hell Beware of a neighborhood with lots of rentals If there is an HOA, check out the covenants carefully And obviously, check out the crime stats and school ratings if you have kids Make sure also if it's an older house to get the age of the roof. The inspector may pass the roof, but that doesn't mean you won't need a new one in 2-3 years and it's a big expense.

Spare me ... lots of haters of successful people as well. Agreed, but I never said he would be a good pro. I think he's got tons of potential, but what he does with it is yet to be seen. And IMO, he'll be gone before the Bills pick even if they move up.
-
Actually it doesn't imply anything but a lot of folks think he'll be a bust in the pros. But a lot of scouts and folks that watch a lot of film think he'll go really high. None of us have any idea if he will be good in the pros. College performance is not necessarily a prerequisite for pro success at QB.

Harrington made some childish comments on Twitter akin to the blogger and mommy's basement. Not professional at all but also not surprising. I also would not be surprised if Lehner actually did say something off the cuff about getting traded as he probably realizes he's not part of the plan going forward.

Maybe Housley can do a little team building on South Beach tomorrow ... 82° and sunny. -
Don't think the Allen haters will have anything to worry about - I'd bet he'll be gone in the 1st 3 QBs taken. TT could very well end up in Denver with Allen as the backup. You're right - he played a few snaps against Cinci on 12/17. Would assume the physical would be a little more detailed considering he was already under contract to the Vikes and we would be paying him somewhere between 8-12 mil (guessing). Same with Bradford although he would cost more.

Maybe, I'd like to see what an NFL physical entails ... must be some kind of mobility and strength testing meaning stressing a repaired knee somewhat.

Huge ... played many games in the basement of Crosby Hall on the Main St campus. -
Right on - let's see if he can pass a physical.

Out of curiosity, when did they wake up the last 5 years ?

Gorges has been scratched too often to be worthy of a trade. Betting he'll be overseas next year.

Missed that thread but I see now he's a Group 6 UFA
