Since this season appears to be lost, I would sell high on Pommer / Vanek / Miller. IMO, the only players who should be buying a house in the greater Buffalo area are Ennis, Ehrhoff, Weber, Ott, Hodgson & possibly Foligno.

Been a Buffalo sports fan for a long time now - I'm starting to think there might be something to a "curse" on our sports teams. Has nothing to do with the city or the people and the constant barrage of putdowns the city gets. Detroit is annually voted the worse place to live in the U.S. and they have multiple cups. Now if I can just find out who placed the curse on our fair city ...

Who on our team is even close to the talent of John Tavares ? Who are our two defensemen that are the equivalents of Visnovsky and Streit ? Who on our team has the breakaway speed of Grabner and can actually put the puck away ? As a whole, the skill of this team is below par and the effort in our own end below subpar. The season is shot; send some of these prima donnas down to Rochester and bring up some kids that will skate for 60 minutes. After every game, standard pat answer ... "We've got to keep working hard in practice to fix the things are broken" ... working hard ... what a concept.

What will be interesting is to see how Kassian plays for the Canucks. Now that he's no longer a Sabre, I'd like to ask him if Lindy asked him to tone down the hitting and showcase the skill side of his game. I personally think the caged beast will be released ...

Only for 20 more games and I can live with that ... I have the utmost confidence that size and grit will be added over the summer. Foligno will be up next year as well and Boyes will be long gone as will either Roy or Stafford via trade.
