    Sorry, missed your point entirely. I thought you meant Cardale had transferred like Hurts probably will do. Hard to see Hurts sitting behind Tua unless something changes before net season.

    I don't think so ... Cardale red-shirted his 1st year at OSU, but was there for the duration. Now Jacob Eason is thinking about UW now that he'll never see another play at Georgia. Hurts should transfer as well - he's only 19 and can sit for a year.

    Isn't that what the plan was for Peterman this year ? So TT stays, the natives are restless, and we finish 8-8 or 9-7 next year with a newly drafted QB on the sidelines ?

    Sorry, was more of a general comment. But to your point, no doubt teams have biases as to the ideal QB and I'd like to know what Beane is thinking.

    If that's the case and Brady could make all of the throws at Michigan, why wasn't he taken until the 6th ?

    Bull, scouts spend hundreds of hours looking at tape and I'm sure Brady was no exception. Brady probably would be out of the league had he been drafted by anyone other than New England and had Belichick as his coach.

    Brady only makes those throws behind a solid OL and receivers that can get open. A couple of things we're missing. And how many of Brady's completions were underneath throws to Welker, Edelman, Amedola turned into big yardage plays. Where is that on the Bills ? Brady was drafted in the 6th because his combine numbers sucked. His 40 time was 5.3, vertical jump 24" and his Wonderlic 33.

    Peterman's combine velocity was middle of the pack, but I agree that he has more than TT.

    I'm with ya on all of this. Get Smith, get him some targets @ WR - Benjamin/Jones/Clay/TBD, and shore up the OL. Incognito might have one more year and make a decision on Glenn. Kyle is probably gone so we need a DT. Shady's probably got one of two more, but we need a backup other than Tolbert. And draft a QB ...

    Sounds good on paper and KC would probably work with us after the Mahomes deal last year. Give them one of our 2nd rounders.

    Stats say otherwise ... who can the Bills bring in that gives them the best chance to win in 2018-19 ? Certainly not a rookie. Maybe Cousins if we shore up some other areas and get him some additional targets. Who else ? Bradford ? How can we possibly make the playoffs this year and then take a step back next year if it's pretty much decided TT is not the answer ?

    I'd take Alex in a heartbeat for a couple of years and draft his eventual replacement this year. Better than paying Cousins 28 mil or any other UFA.
