  1. Cozens couldn't score at a brothel with Terry's credit card, yeeesh
  2. He's never been placed on IR so that's a tough sell. Conditioning stint could be 2 weeks max I think but that's not happening. Correct. But to add, that doesn't make him AHL eligible.
  3. Zach Benson must be 20 on or before December 31st to be AHL eligible. He will not be. This applies to all CHL players.
  4. Uhg, well they don't play again until what? Friday.
  5. Practice lines from yesterday: I don't care for how Ruff is treating Benson. Contrary to popular belief here, he is still driving play wherever he goes and yet gets bounced around the lineup.
  6. Sabres take on the 5-1-0 Dallas Stars at home tonight. UPL most likely in net for Buffalo. Buffalo has the 4th worse odds of winning at just over 40% and all 32 teams play tonight. Look for the line of Quinn - Cozens - Kulich tonight as Ruff indicated this morning that he thinks they work well together.
  7. Also, Mahomes: 67.9%, 1389yrds, 6tds, 8int Allen: 63%, 1483yrds, 12tds, 0int That's just passing.
  8. The game today is so fundamentally different then it was during Marinos time. Comparing them would be a mistake, it's like when people say Gretzky would get 150pts today, he wouldn't and it is okay.
  9. Team or private models could get that specific. I don't think public models do but some may have a little of that. You'd have to track each player and where they score from and also where goalies get scored on. The issue is goals are rare events so there might be too much noise but that's above my understanding of stats or large data models.
  10. Every shot taken on the ice, has a small chance to go in for a goal. Math breaks down how many shots become goals from that spot. So let's use the faceoff dot as an example, and say for every 100 shots taken from the right faceoff dot, 10 go on. That gives us 10 out of 100 or 10% or for xgf, 0.1 because 10% as a decimal is 0.1 So, when you're on the ice you get .1 for every right faceoff dot shot your team takes and .1 against for every one the opposing team takes. So if you're good and are just allowing low quality point shoots but in turn get high quality shots yourself, you'll have a here xgf or expected goals for. xGF% is your xgf / xga Note, shots have to be on net.
  11. since Levi came up... this is basically all from that 1 game. Numbers don't really stabilize until about 15ish starts
  12. I only saw parts of this game because, Go Dawgs. That said, Samuelsson looks awful, truly playing like butt. Ruff can't tell about accountability and not make him sit one game. Jack Quinn is really disappointing me this season. He has all the tools and the brains, but just looks lost. If he can start clicking with Kulich, he can drive that line but he needs to simplify his game.
  13. ... no Levi hasn't been better than UPL. In fact, they've been exactly the same:
  14. I'm barely paying attention but why the F### is Samuelsson still getting ice time?
  15. The underlying 5v5 metrics indicate they might be. They don't fix special teams though, it won't matter. Keep in mind, this is a rebuilding Chicago team too.
  16. Either they fix the special teams and the underlying metrics that say they aren't trash turn out to be right or... we talk about who we are trading at the deadline and who we are picking in the top 5.
  17. I don't agree at all and think you analogy is trash. Quinn is exceedingly well rounded.
  18. JJ Peterka might be a burgeoning 30+ g and 70+ pt player. He may be better than Quinn.
